After quite a long break I log in to check out the new areas.  I am not really pleased about the old Plains of the Lizardmen, turning into the new area.  It use to be one of my favorite places to go.  What can one do?

I did note an amusing character name as I roamed about however. Someone really needs to find another person it looks like.

Then before I log out for upcoming maintenance I take a picture of the event manager Freya

which for those of us casuals, will be the only Freya we’re likely to ever see.

I had a long break from the game while I was on vacation!

I am at 26% and make it to 51% in the Frozen Lab before buffs run, I’m down to Vit 3, and servers are coming down shortly anyway.  I don’t see any other players where I’m at, but I do get a 100% Doom Shield rec.

I head back to town and say hello to bats as he has logged in and restock my shots, then break for maintenance.

After maint I hop back in and get a party with Adan again in Witches, with SOFOYLITSA.

Since the Vit event is back in effect, I have picked that up and hit 59!

When they have to go afk a bit, I need to log, I have studying to do today 🙂 I pick up 10k beast shots, which leaves me around 2 mill adena, and log out.

Well I could really call this night 32 since I was only able to pop in for the Territory War.  I logged in, SOE’d to castle, and ran out to the front field. I check in with eXo, get a group with Perkaset and kind of hang out.

I set my replay going to I can see the fights better later on as well. This whole thing reminds me of listening to Olympiad fights back in the day, where this person lets this other person kill them and where is a wizard I need to kill a wizard, etc etc.

I get killed once but there is no exp loss, and I actually gained some exp so that’s fine.  I talks to bats (the player, not literal bats) during this and it is confirmed the battles are arranged this way for the rep.  I guess there isn’t enough interest, or real players to play out the way it was meant.  Besides all that I am many many levels behind everyone else and massively under geared to be of any use. Still, this is the first time I’ve ever seen a TW so it was interesting 🙂

I start out in Frozen Lab again and pick up 54 silver crystals before I decide to hoof it back to that chump Rafforty and pick up his other quest.  Again the clan hall serves its purpose as I return to it and port back to Frozen Lab repeatedly rather than running to Misa in the frozen lake and back over and over.  I process my crystals and receive 18 black ones.  Now that NPC offers an additional parameter where you can trade silver or black crystals for items.  The hilarious thing though, is for a EWB you need over 1,000 black ones, which at current failure rates you’d need something like 8,000 to whittle down to that amount, times 4 clicks each, 32,000 clicks (roughly).  No TY!

At around 80% I get invited to a party in Apostate again from Adanedhel21 and get up to 96% before buffs run and we both have something else to do. During this time I run into eXoDiaC while I am recovering from nearly wiping earlier.

I get the real nice prophet buffs here, and it makes one wonder why anyone would bother running around with no, or lesser buffs, EVER!  The more buffs the merrier! Everyone in the pool! Woo!

I finish off my level and ding 58, pick up some new skills and run into Furrious, and take an updated picture!

The armor really adds like 10 inches to an orcs size I think XD  I put my mats away, restock shots, and log for the day.

Today was server maintenance so I didn’t get as much done as normal.  I logged in early and grabbed my Vit buff since the NPCs were going to be removed and logged out until later.

In the afternoon I went to the Frozen Lab, which is convenient because of the clan hall in Schuttgart, and picked up the quest Ice Merchants Dream from Rafforty.  I set out grinding and along the way pick up a Doom Boots 100% rec, a level 58 life stone, and another 50% exp.  During all this I earn around 130 ice crystals.

On the way back I talk to Rafforty, and then the ice shelf thing and this is just where stuff gets stupid. It requires 4 clicks (quest, use tool, use tool, close window) PER CRYSTAL and it doesn’t seem to matter what you pick, because this doofus NPC breaks the majority of them.  I buzz painfully through my 130 crystals and earn 30 freaking Black Ice Crystals.  This guy is like, criminally negligent with my stuff!!  That’s what, 80% fail rate plus 10 solid minutes of clicking? And to add salt on the wound the only option this guy currently has is to give him the crystals, and 30 crystals turns into 36,000 adena. So what do I think of that? This is what!!
