Today I busted ass with a vengeance to get to the point I could learn the patterns Dontpuntme needs.  I finished up the entire Deepholm chain, and what an awesome bunch of stuff that was.

A lot of it revolves around solving conflicts with the stone guys that live down here.  Oh and their wicked fat brood mother.

Apparently this one doesn’t need looks nor a personality, as Stout pointed out accurately.

This little guy was just adorable.

and it didn’t come out well in the shot, but at one point you collect bat wings or parts for him, and once you are done he’s seen running around carrying like 10 of them, like 10x the size of himself.  It was quite amusing. Speaking of, lol!

I had a fun little romp with this guy, chasing him all over a cave.  It’s amazing that a quest involves almost as much awareness as some raids, like this one did, chasing after him, avoiding explosions, etc.

and before I keep saying all this cute stuff, I’d like to point out that lacking anyone to heal when in spirit form on my priest, I spit on horde.  Jan told me that was “classy”.  Well, they deserve it!

Anyway then it went on to an awesome chase on a dragon after another dragon, and fortunately I am ranged so I kept spamming Ice Lance most of the trip.

After I beat that lady down, again (who btw had a great quote of “I’m not that easy, hon”) I am phased in with Stout and I can see his awesome mount,  jealous.  I R jealous.

I rush through the Twilight Highland beginning quests and I figured Stout would like this shot.

I get to the point I can buy the patterns, and I am thankful Dreamcloth is BoP.  It’s about time tailors were given some control over their patterns and production so that a single tailor can’t ruin sales for most of the server.

Spamming Ice lance

Since I need to hit 84 to get my tailoring patterns, I hit the quests with a vengeance.  I also did a bunch of battlegrounds but we won like 1 out of 6 so that wasn’t doing me much good.  I hit 83 today.  I also dropped out of Relentless on this character and even with about 6 people online in the guild at the time, no one even commented on it.   I asked Jan to invite me into my current guild and there I be now!

A few out in Deepholm involve tethering and beating a dragon, and since Ice Lance is hax I can just run circles around the dragon spamming it like crazy.

I took a shot of it, however it really doesn’t do it justice, but one of the quests has you tunneling through the ground, into a cave and drops you off near the boss you need.  It was pretty cool, and I’ve not seen a mechanic like that before.

Later on I set this warp gate on fire, which is similar to one I remember seeing in Scholazar Basin and also, Un’Goro, I beleive.

these are elemental wards I picked up to kill a boss who has the powers of fire, water, etc.  Yes, like the Avatar on the Last Airbender, like that. Reminds me of cubics in Lineage 2.

The other day I did some more quests and this one is just a funny prop.

Tonight I queue up for a regular random and get Tol’Vir.  We kill the first boss then the entire party leaves, leaving me to queue up and wait again.  The entire party was all from Stormreaver: Forceflexx, Sarkastik, Vicken, and Ravn, You ALL SUCK.

After that I queue up with Leonz and two other guildies, who specifically ask to do normal for a quest.  Fine.  We finish HoO then they want to queue again, only after waiting like 10 mins or whatever, both of them go afk, don’t confirmt the boxes and we lose the queue. I got pissed and pointed that out and they said maybe they’d do it later.  I leave group in a huff, I won’t lie.

I group up with Octo and Jan to do bgs and we get Arathi, and midway through they leave to queue Tol Barad, which I hadn’t queued for, and I got bitchy again.  I’m not having a good night.  I stay in that stupid battle and we lose.  Alliance… god.  We suck, tonight, seriously. Fuck.

The Dookie Tree

Today I basically just farmed several battlegrounds, and WG and Tol  Barad until I got enough honor to pick up my PVP Helm.  I had some fun in WG though and busted up at least 3 vehicles by myself while resisting all the horde.  Being 85 in pvp gear has major perks against level 80’s.

During on BG a druid turns into that god awful ugly tree and I comment “that has gotta be the ugliest tree of all time”.  The person “lol”s and says they call it “the dookie tree”

Today I logged in and ran Twin Peaks bg and we won, earned 198 honor, and earned two achievements, Drag a Maw and Twin Peaks Perfection. I wait in the Tol Barad queue for about 14 mins and do not get in right away, and rather than wasting time waiting for it I queue up for a normal dungeon.

I get an in progress Grim Batol. They comment after the first boss, on how bad the other healer was.

We do ok until the last boss where half the dps clearly doesn’t know the right and are not getting in the center of the shadow gale thing. We wipe, then the boomkin leaves, which is fine because they are under 5k dps anyway. We get that boss down.

Leonz tells me he wants an invite to the guild so I do so. We then run Tol’vir together. One paladin down, one more to go XD  The DK tank is lagging like hell but Leonz picked up the slack and tanks all the laggy spots, and we finish it even with the tank dead.  Sometime during this I hit Revered with Hyjal so I can go pick up the head enchant
