I picked up on my quests out in Twilight Highlands again, and this cut scene was pretty cool seeing that the monsters detects you are watching, calls you out directly, then slams you out of the scrying orb you are using, and whispers what a punk you are.

Julak-Doom

I pop on the priest real quick and we kill a rare boss named Julak-Doom, who had interesting abilities like mind control, black shadow like patches on the ground that seemed to be everywhere, a stomp, etc.

I don’t like it when I can’t get in TB

Last night I ran a regular Stonecore with Pauldie’s warlock, since I still need regular JP for some upgrades. It’s been slow going since I’ve been trying to get other things done too.

I did the warding quest in Deepholm as well, and tried to queue for Tol Barad but didn’t get in. I rarely get in, it’s annoying.

I queued up for a random and get AV, and we get CRUSHED all the way back to our starting point and lose like 540 to 20. UGH.

Today I bought the stronger spellthread patterns and then realized I needed 85 to get it.  Bleh.  I went off to Twilight Highlands to quest.  I liked this flying one, where you kill the Twilight guys on the rocks.  I first tried to kill them myself on the stones in the air, but after being knocked off twice I went back to get the gryphon.

I am also making solid use of my mirrors and other mage tricks just not to die, a lot.

And aww.  I rescure the baby gryphon which you can also get as a plush toy and in game pet. I want it!

I quest until I get to around 55% then take a break.  I did love “Fight like a Wildhammer” quest where I took a chug of ale every time I picked up a keg, though, and ran around fighting drunk XD

Bastion of Twilight

Soo yeah catching up, I ran some arenas with Janusz to get the max points for the week.  Warlocks suck and frost mages are bullshit.  Learning the pvp dance again will be something to do though.

Last night we tried the Twilight Bastion raid and repeatedly die around 1-2 minutes into the first fight.

there was much harping around needing to know the fight, which is a no brainer, but we all know that these hard fights also need to be experienced and you need to click as a team. You can watch all the videos you want but seeing and knowing, and doing and knowing are two different things.  So, we got nowhere but that was not surprising.  Look at what a mess the bosses in ICC were to begin with,  and most of those required no cc, and much less TEAM cooperation. And those people that got it on 25 heroic already? I wouldn’t want to get anything that fast personally.
