Rtards

Yesterday I got in on a BH run with Pauldie, but plate and mail dropped. Spent some time doing busy work, cooking dailies, fishing, herbing, etc.

Today, same thing, herbing now that flasks take 8 of one herb, 8 of another, and 8 volatile life. I made one of the new Alchemy trinkets, Vibrant Alchemist stone which is MUCH improved over that first one that was of little use to us. That set me back quite a few volatile life though.

Anyway while I was out herbing and in the queue for TB, Soulprince throws me a group invite without as much as a hi or anything. I ask him what he wants and he says he needs a few heroic runs to get enough gear to get his ilevel to raid status. I will never run with him again after that Oculus disaster some time ago. I say no I am waiting for TB. He shows up at the TB battle and says hi, then asks me to heal BH. I said no. I’m not even going to let curiosity kill me this time and see how bad a heroic run would go.

Later he asks me about the heroics again and I said I would not run then, he asks why not I say I will not run heroics outside of the guild. He says ‘not even for a friend?’ and I flat out say not after that ghastly Oculus we we had some time ago. He just says “haha”

I mention to Jan that we need a word of some sort to identify people easily with this kind of behavior. You need to have several traits to fall into it, too. A few would be, inviting people to groups without asking first if they would like to do a group, repeatedly asking for things that are inconvenient for the person to just give away (transmute CD’s, cloth CD’s, flasks) without ever reciprocating in the least, asking for dungeon runs then being rude, pushy, or leaving halfway into it, and showing up to a raid missing all enchants, maybe a few gems, foodless, etc.

And better yet, to add to the douchery, neglect to eat buff food after someone fished up a ton for you. Stuff like that. He suggested “rtard” but it doesn’t feel severe enough.

Anyway tonight we tried 25man BWD and didn’t get it down. Got close once, but… well. We should know at least a few people who should not be invited back at this point.

This is why you don’t have to group up any more

Ran arena with Pauldie on his warlock, and got all our wins with only 2 losses, I think. Dispersion really failed me twice and I wasn’t pleased about that. Bought a new pvp off hand item after we maxed points.

After that ran a TB battle, and spent a good 15 mins at Slag with Rexe, running out of mp repeatedly killing horde over and over, didn’t even die that entire time. We kept it.

Did the pvp dailies, and I don’t understand why people don’t group up others clearly waiting for a quest mob in there. I always try to invite everyone waiting, it benefits everyone involved. Ran into Pauldie on Pauldie on the Peninsula and he helped me finish the dailies there too.

After that we did a heroic dungeon and I got new heroic shoulders. They were roughly an even trade from what I had on, BUT I traded the ones with crit strike rating which I didn’t really need, with haste rating, which I did need. After reforging some other gear, I am now nearly at my 12% haste rating that I was trying to get. And the new shoulders more match my new gear too

Rogues are slippery

Today I log in to do 2’s and get in a TB battle, which we actually win! Couldn’t believe it.  Of course someone said the horde probably want to run TB on their Alliance alts, which.. would be lame.  Still, we got it.

Afterward we form up for BH and get that boss the first try. No cloth drops though.

Later I get on the next battle, and run in flagged just in time to get the win though, and run into my Ladiesman rogue, but the Alliance around me aren’t helping out so I die. To wear off the pvp flag I go stand in a group of these Alliance guards…

and as a horde runs past I stun them, and they run in to their deaths as they try to kill me.  Those TB guards, are no joke.  I know, they wreck my junk when I do the same thing on the Horde side.  However,  I had to laugh! Then twice my rogue “friend” runs in, once gets killed by the guards, and another time has to bail over the edge to get away from some alliance.  The third time I watch from my ring of guards, while he heads closer to the Alliance camp and stand flagged, on a rock looking down on our camp.  I forget to take a screenshot but since I am not flagged I just watch him on his motorcycle.  It must be a rogue thing, since Stout has the same one.  I had half a mind to stun with a Chastise and levitate down to my camp, but I figure I’d behave myself for once.

So! Tonight we did get Chimaeron

then went off to the last boss in this place

We also went on to kill Halfus, Valiona and Theralion in Bastion of Twilight.

I get a new pair of bracers too (Bracers of the Bronze Flight), so very happy, was wearing pvp bracers for a long while ><

So I met this one rogue…

Yesterday I ran into that LadÎesman rogue and he started the blowing a kiss thing again, so we traded that back and forth for a while. I decided to hop on my horde after the battle just to send a note that I was impressed with his playing at the battles and he said it was nothing personal that he goes for healers first, and that it was fun. I agreed and said I expected anyone with sense to kill healers first. And for some reason he sent me 2 ruined embersilk scraps. Too bad you can’t loot bodies in TB like you could in WG, and get funny grey items like Broken I WIN button, crystallized tears, etc. I liked that little touch.

Tonight we ran BWD again and wiped right away a few times on Aramedes when Darth wasn’t doing, whatever needed to be done. The funny thing is, the time we got it he was dead like the entire battle, then dropped a hint that someone killed him with fire, rather than doing what the rest of us do and get OUT of the fire.

Then we tried the Chimaera again and several times got him down to between 160k and 800k health. I kid you got. SO CLOSE. Clearly, a disc priest doesn’t fly here. We called it without getting it because it was late, but I am positive we’ll get it tonight. We got it almost down at least 5 times.

Deepholm

Finished up the chain of Deepholm quests, and ran the dailies for Therazane.

Ran TB twice today as attacking and did not take it.  During one of the battles, a worgen named Shíggles starts carrying on about how TB is so easy to take, I say it’s not, in raid, and they decide to take the convo to pm’s.  Basically we’re in agreement that you need a coordinated group of people, preferably on voice comm, to take TB.  What I disagree on is that is it NOT EASY.  It’s not easy because even amounts of people have uneven jobs.  The defenders with 50 people need to only keep one base.  The attackers with 50 people (for example) have to take and keep THREE BASES.  That, is not easy.  Add to the fact that you are running around with people who may not be in pvp gear, probably not with the ideal amount of healers, with various people attempting to lead, and other lack of communication, it is NOT EASY.

But to me, bringing 50+ people that work well together, in itself, is not considered “easy”.  They then ask if I’ve heard of Rogue’s Vent, which no I have not.  Rather than telling me what that is they keep expressing shock and awe that I haven’t heard of it. I couldn’t find a thing on it, and they gave me the wrong url for it 3 times, only then could I locate anything about it.  I was willing to go into vent and speak about this more, but shortly after I kept saying their vent link didn’t work, they asked me to stop pming them and I said fine.

I mean, if it takes that much coordination and everyone in a vent server, I’ll do it.  But that, people, is not easy.
