Today I we won TB and I did my dailies.  While I was occupied with some crocs in the swamp, a undead rogue, whose name I cannot recall, attacks and kills me.  I lose both because I was injured by the croc, and had some CDs down from fighting it.  But hey I was flagged that’s what I get.

Later I also get into a fight, flagged while questing again, with Rayslayz, the blood elf shadow priest I was making kissy faces at while trying to kill a few days ago.  He has superior arena gear, and kills me.  I check his armory afterwards and notice the gear, and his 1800 arena rating. Nice.  I figure if he plays anything like me he’ll be hanging around still so I run back where he’s tangling with another alliance shadow priest, and help kill him, twice.  Yes, it was unfair but don’t run around flagged then.  Jumping people not ready isn’t exactly fair either but I’m ok with that.

I herbed so much that I overflowed my giant bag of herbs, even after making 10 flasks, my bag is still nearly full but I’m out of volatile life.  I may start selling the extras since herbs gathered far outpaces the volatiles used in flasks now.

I did a few totally fail battlegrounds, then got into TB.  I play hide and seek with a BE paladin named Aldturmiss around a column, and since he seems so intent on killing me I blow my usual kisses, then later he returns them before dying to lots of Alliance.  We do not take TB that time though.  I thanked Khrow, a rogue, for helping me survive an attack on the road by a shaman who didn’t seem to want to leave me alone, and made a point to heal Rayzo hanging out with me at Slag. Rayzo also has a chopper, I swear all rogues do.

Yesterday, ran every TB battle I could and did the dailies. I partied with a paladin to do a few of the pvp dailies, and they switched to a rogue character they had, and told me they do this every day on 3 characters. That shamed me into running them at least once.

I ran into Leonz during at least one of these too.

The short of it, I was right, Brdlady left guild today after bitching about not getting in raids, after her friend Shafoxx threw a fit and also left. This was during a raid so most of us didn’t have time to properly address the bitching, either.  Jan was trying to explain the logistics of why you don’t swap out new people into a raid all the time, but they didn’t care.

The difference there was she was at a 25 man raid, and we were doing 10.  Obviously everyone that wants to go, can’t go when you need to drop 15 people.

Ok, you go “plug it better”.  Pugging these raids, right now, won’t work, but GL with that.

We got down the Conclave of Wind, and all but the last boss in BWD.  No cloth dropped, and I recorded Atramedes, but we’ll see how that gets put together since my screen is kind of spazy looking around for people to heal and bubble.

Soo today, and pictures later, I did all my TB dailies, all the Therazane ones, ran 2 TB battles, didn’t get in 2 battles.  Had some fun standing near the guards in TB again and running out to help alliance kill flagged horde.  I spent some time with Maice teasing one called Rayslayz, almost killing each other back and forth for several minutes, while throwing out my kisses.  After Maice left I continued to do so but neither one of us died.   I already knew you could stand by the guards and still get ranged attacked, but a boomkin today was going fing NUTS on me with moonfire while the guards stood there idle.  Seems quite bogus.

However later a shaman tried the same trick, and I just ran over to him and the guards kicked his ass, then another horde did the same, and got a beat down.

I went in two WG battles, and the funny thing is, it was Leonz and I to start, both times.

We do Bastion of Twilight and get the council bosses down, and I really liked that fight. I went disc for that since for once, there wasn’t an insane amount of full raid damage.  then head to Cho’gall.

At this point it’s around 11:40, and a bit after midnight I need to go, and some other people too so we call it.  I earned a nice purple necklace, Valiona’s Medallion to replace a blue I still had from the twin dragons, earlier in the raid.  I also pick up Heavenly Breeze, an epic 359 cloak, and enchant it.

Speaking of enchants, I am a little surprised at the number of level 85’s running around missing 5-7 enchants on their gear.  You will be missing a significant amount of important stats, missing that many bonuses to your gear.  Another item of note is people that have no idea what to enchant.  I helped a priest last night fill the 7 missing enchants, Shafoxx, and as of this morning the items are enchanted, according to wowarmory.  I think that was simply a matter of needing to know what to get.

Brdlady on the other hand, was missing 5 enchants last night and when I asked if she took care of that, said she was just missing a robe enchant, but as of right now (12+ hours later), is still missing 5.  We also got into a discussion how mages have no business rolling on spirit gear any more.  It use to be slightly acceptable in Wrath since you got bonuses to Molten Armor for spirit, but that is no longer the case.  The only reason to do so, would be if no one in the group needed the item, and the mage was using like… a green, or something.   She said she wanted it to boost her item level so she could raid with us, but I pointed out we aren’t blinded by ilevel and will be looking at gear too.  I, once again, don’t expect her to last long.

The raid tonight was 10 man, which I do prefer, but I would like to see us in 25 man to get everyone who wants to come in.  However that doesn’t mean taking people improperly geared, since that just means everyone else has to carry them.  That won’t work out.

Making Flasks

Went back to farming, and now that the flasks are 8/8/8 it seems like I get less Volatile life, but, I did make at least 15 flasks today so I am using a lot each time. However, it seems unbalanced a bit when I have a 36 herb bag 90% full and can’t make a flask.

We tried 2v2 arena with me as disc, since shields went from around 15k absorbed to 24k, but, it’s just not working out. The shields get ripped off me before I can put them up again, so I end up tanking 2 people until I die and we lose. We won 1 out of, like 4, and I was dead the entire time. Couldn’t outlive it even with Pain Suppression, breaking LoS, etc.

I need to run a dungeon, but I’m not pugging it, and really, I dislike dungeon runs these days. I’d much rather raid.
