Last night with Acks and Alexmx, we ran Grim Batol, Deadmines, and Tol’vir. During Deadmines we lost 3 healers, and Nish on his druid. He raged really hard about us in guild chat then left the group. We all died quite a bit in DM but eh whatever. I got new pve bracers, 2 pve rings, and used my justice points to pick up a slightly better necklace.
Better than Sharding
Last night we ran an alt group in BoT in which I took my mage, and got down the first 2 bosses. I have 359 gloves, pants, belt, boots, and one trinket, conquest pvp weapon, wand, off hand, dungeon robe and shoulders, and normal dungeon necklace, head, cape, etc. My gear is kind of sad, so I need to start working on this char again. I picked up a good pve weapon, which I enchanted with pretty Power Torrent, and got a robe that belongs to healers, but they were going to shard it and I asked for it, since it was still an upgrade and I could reforge the spirit to hit anyway.
Raiding in Blues
Ran BWD last night and, I was very lucky. Won Treads of Savage Beatings BoE, won Mantle of Roaring Flames shoulders to replace my heroic blues, and Chimearon finally, finally dropped the Finkle’s Mixer Upper wand. I also got that, so now my blues are all gone.
Critters
Ran my last battle for conquest cap today with Peejay, against a shadow priest and holy paladin. They got me very low on health, shadow fiend on CD, dispelled down to nothing, so I had to LoS the damn spriest and use my mana hymn, and then he beat the spriest down. The fights are getting a lot more fun and challenging now.
Alexmx, Nobodi and I went to Eastern Plaguelands and killed a ton of critters in a cave out there trying to get that critter killing achievement. We left it off with about 600 to go, since Alex and I went to TB and Nobodi had to go.
Later on we got the Critter achievement and could buy the armadillo pup thing, and I picked up the guild herald, wish I could have it follow me all the time XD
Bugged out Turret
Fished out in TB today to get enough raid food together, and ran into Acks, did some friendly insulting back and forth and such. Also ran into an Arenamaster warrior, named something like Jonnyboy when getting into fights with Ladiesman. I got a spriest killed by tempting them to come too close to the guards, who now have a more reasonable aggro range too. My mage now has 5/5 vicious cloth pieces, weapon, off hand, wand, and will keep working on the rest of the items. I am not that good as a frost mage really, maybe I’m set up wrong or something, because I don’t feel my damage output is really there. I like my fire spec though, and I doubt I’ll go back to arcane if I ever raid.
During on of my WG runs, a persistent rogue kept breaking up my sieges, but at one point the turrent fell on the ground and I was still able to get into it and fire.
I was also the only person in the raid group, and for some reason, while I was running around looking for horde npcs to kill, I was removed from raid, for what reason I don’t even know, though I got to stay in the area. Alexmx came with and was in his own separate raid too. We didn’t take it this time.
