When I logged in tonight Jan wanted to put together a BWD group, and I said I’d go with Alex went, and he said he’d go if I went. So off we went! We cleared it up to Nef fast with no real issues, other than me noting that Myni joined guild 6 days ago and already quit and joined another. He also did not heal through most of the trash. But anyway I think the only time we wiped was on Atramedes when everyone was all over the place rather than in one spot for ranged. Nothing I wanted dropped. I’m pretty sure Maloriak never drops that Jar of Ancient Remedies any more.
I keep missing kills!
Did more arena with Acks last night, and we ended up with something like 50% wins. We ran into 2 double pally teams, the second one we won against when I chain feared and MC’d the holy pally. Got my cap but really have nothing to buy.
Also ran 3 or 4 TB battles today, and although we had it in the morning, we lost every single battle after that. One of the times we didn’t even get all the towers down. It just seems like horde is able to have 10 people at 2 bosses and a few at the third, but when I look at the alliance map, we have 10 people at one base (usually ICG), 5 or less at WV and no one but me at slags. Then we have people yelling out GET WV GET WV so we can win! … while I’m staring at a slags base with 10 horde waiting and not an alliance in sight. Depressing.
Speaking of, last night the guild got down Al’akir. So this is the second time I did not feel like raiding, and they got a new boss down. Last time it was Nefarion. Why do I always just get in on the shitty nights? Ugh.
Golden King mount
Last night I took off raiding and ran arena with Acks. I think we lost more than won but most of the fights were pretty hard. We quit before cap to watch Game of Thrones.
Today I ran TB twice and we did not take it both times, like 1/3 not even close.
On the plus side I got the Golden King mount when we hit 25th guild level some time last night I think. They need to make it so you can just turn that banner off though it’s bizzare to look at. Anyway I ran into Zukk trying to kill me a lot the first battle, and ran into Jonnyboi a lot during the second. Afterwards I ran to the horde camp and he set up a little picnic and bounced and spun all around.
Fail raids
Last night we tried Nefarion but with too many issues to note. Basically we spent probably an hour trying to get the group together total, swapped out at least 3 players, died 1-2 minutes into the fight and only hit 2nd phase a few times at which point we instantly wiped. Out of at least 10 attempts we made zero progress, and I declined this weeks raids because I’m tired of doing the same thing over and over, with random people most of the time, and failing so much.
ZA Quest Robe
Ran ZA and actually got a decent group even though we had a few wipes. Finally got the pretty quest reward robe, and a new ring along the way.
