Adding People Faster!

Lately I’ve been adding people to my btag list faster than I can ever recall.  I need to write these down to remember the circumstances.

Hugs (Modakka), Dk I met when trying to find the Unborn Valk pet.  Ended up helping me look for one.

Ravenshield (Ravenshield), a warrior who commented on my paladins transmog as I stood around Stormshield, who helped me find a good 2 handed transmog (Claymore of the Prophet) then we did some bgs together.

Bunky (Crizunk), paladin who was cheeky in a dungeon I was healing on my druid, ended up talking a lot and doing some dungeons/bgs.  Started up healing contents to make horrible bgs a little less awful.

(Blackbeltkid) I forget the character name, but a shadow priest on Sargeras who helped my paladin kill a bunch of rares.

Stardancer (Star), a rogue who I met while questing on Sargeras who helped me quest.

Westmoreland (Okumsup), rogue I met on Sargeras who I PM’d telling him the group was full.  That led to a discussion about my name, the Korra show, and so on.

Shankashank (Xeno) Low level rogue I met on Whisperwind on my druid, who watched me kill a DK and a warrior who was attacking Darkshire.

 

Besides all that, bgs have been somewhat of a fuck story. Hunters are insane, DKs are insane, and CC is only different on casters, who got screwed.  Melee and hunters, all the same if not worse.  Then there’s crap like this in Ashran:

Where Horde on Whisperwind farms ALL the events, then summons 20+ captains and Kronus.

I still do enjoy my dances with rogues though.  Kited these two pretties all over the map.

Queue to Queue to Queue

I get queues are needed but man.  I run to Ashran to queue.  That will take a while so I queue for a bg.  Those have been around 6 minutes lately.  Double-queued up, now what? Can’t do much of anything else because either can pop at any time.  They are supposed to fix Ashran at least, by making it be more like a bg and open more instances.  I’m sad about that though because I thought it would be a persistent zone like Wintergrasp, only open all the time, and only for your server.  I want to play with people that come all the time like the old days.

I met, SO many people that way.  Fratricide, Ladiesman, Acks, Whitescourge, Zukk, Perfide, Rexe, Sealgaer, Darkest, and, yeah. A lot.

Back to Being Bad

I haven’t done any random battlegrounds in a while, but it’s bad.  I won’t say Alliance sucks, because I haven’t done it on horde, but man.  I went 1/5 yesterday, and the 1 was an AV we barely won.  We lost an IoC.  No joke.

Then went on to go 0/3 the next day too.  Sigh.

Rogue Rolodex

I ran into a new friend, another rogue named Stardancer, on Sargeras on my paladin.  Someone was looking for help with some rares, and I joined in.  We cleared a bunch in Spires of Arak and did some quests, and parted ways.

 

Only the next day, what do you know, ran into the same rogue again.

Grouped up again, and got called “cute” because I did a Lay on Hands when he was almost dead.  Added a friend after that.  Then today, ran into them randomly out in Nagrand, shortly before I hit 100.

One thing about Sargeras though.  It’s a pvp server, only it doesn’t appear that Alliance want to pvp.  Horde can be attacking a town, like here:

And it’s just “stop crying” and “who cares”.  Weird.

Then I also have Kuraha – Ghostlands, who I met back on my priest in Outlands, who figured out that we can cross our servers again by going to dead places, like Molten Front in Hyjal.  We use to see each other almost everywhere but now our servers don’t phase anywhere but obscure areas.  I really don’t get CRZ sometimes.
