Dance of Joy

Back in Mirror Lake Orchard I start talking to the Cultists trying to find missing family members.  I tell I talk to Cultist Wyman and tell him his family is worried and wants him to come back to Stormwind. He refuses stating he’s on the path to ascension.  Maybe they are serving Kool aid?

I’m having trouble locating some Cultists so I /target them and use Mind Vision to look around. Here’s me using it on Kaima. I’m in the back upper right.

Kaima doesn’t wish to return either. There is another cultist just outside the house that Lethelyn was in. She at least has the grace to burst into tears over the fight she had with her family over the cult. Back to Stormwind Keep Anton says there is nothing we can do to convince the cultists otherwise, and says that Cho’Gall is in charge of the cult, and it has to be Twilight’s Hammer. I don’t recall that particular lore. This explains all the devices all over town though, if I got some many other people did too and not all undercover. I find a device and it spawns a storm mob!

The Stormwind Guards just watch me kill it though and do not help. After I kill 5 I return to Anton and he worries that people will abandon the Light for promises of power and immortality. Now I get to speak to the King, prrrrow. Waiting for people to move so I can take a shot takes a while.

Wait, what? I get a party?

And now we are so happy, we do the Dance of Joy!

The game is down for maintenance, but I checked the armory of the people in the LK group and they did get it sometime around midnight. So I missed out on a kill, again. /wrists

Elleria the Mage

Server maintenance was extended today so I got logged in a bit late. I ran the Coren daily, though I thought it would have been removed. Can’t argue with free frosts and gold though! I ran Warsong Gulch (WSG) and Eye of the Storm (EotS) battlegrounds 2 and 1 time each then had to log out to do real life things!

Halls of Reflection

I notice the queue for healers has been quite long lately, like 5+ minutes which doesn’t seem like a lot but it use to be almost instant. I mention this in guild and Maice offers to run it with me, and we grab Yellowducky too. As is Maice’s luck with me, we get HoR. Yellow lags out and crashes touching the warlock soul well and we 4 man up to and past the first boss. Impressive! I end up frozen behind one of the walls some how, which I’ve never done before, but oddly no one needed healing.

Afterwards Lila asks if I want to do The Lich King and tells me to go to Ironforge for inspection. Yes, Ironforge. They say their priest has dropped for the last 5 minutes and hadn’t come back. I wait about 10 more and I’m told I’ll be invited, but the leader of the raid is shouting for a priest for ICC with over 5900 gs and the LK achievement (snobs) and seems miffed I am not Exalted with Ashen Verdict. As if farming trash and bosses requires a lot of skill. After wasting my time standing around I’m told the priest they kicked came back and they do not need me. Apparently it was Yemener too, who is now in Hero after being in my guild all of 1 day. Meh. I will never get LK I swear.

It turns out that group last night did get the LK, which is depressing. I guess I only get invited to groups that fail all over the place.

I receive the Saronite bars from the mage and turn them into Titanium which takes 8 saronite bars per. During this I learn a new transmutation, Eternal Earth to Air. If that didn’t have a long cool down it would be very nice since Eternal Earths are the cheapest of the bunch and Air and Fire way more valuable. I’m on the fence on selling the Titanium bars now or later. In Cataclysm we will have 2 new races that will need top end craftable gear, but who knows if they will be able to just earn better from questing or dungeons. Looking at gear I had in Outland (Burning Crusades) and what I got when I hit Northrend, that is highly likely. I decide to sell the bars on the Auction House. The lowest bars are a little over 10g so I set the starting at 9 and buy out at 10g 10s.

Azjol Nerub

Ran my Horseman and earned the Hallowed Helm, then ran my daily dungeon, which I guess isn’t exactly daily any more, and got Azjol-Nerub (AN).  This is my favorite mostly due to it being the fastest dungeon to run, but also because the spider voices are pretty cool. I lose the tank just prior to the first boss because I got web wrapped repeatedly and wasn’t broken out of it until I took my fingers off my key binds to type out that I was in fact webbed.

The tanks asked the hunter to glitch Hadronox but he doesn’t know how, and although he Feign Death’d in the hall area, it doesn’t glitch it and we do the fight the normal way.

The last boss is little trouble and at least no one got thrown into the air from the spikes. I need to work on my flight paths (FP) at some point because I noticed I skipped a lot of them, having leveled up to 80 on dungeons and PVP only for the most part.
