Nespirah

The dilemma I am running into now, is the quests are so good, so many of them, that it is hard to do them and post what I find is interesting.  Because, it’s all interesting! So! Here are some I took earlier today.

This picture I am in a creature named Nespirah, which seems related to Cruma’s in Lineage 2 only this one is actually alive.  I head inside of it with someone from the Earthen Ring and we note there are slaves mining pearls.

229ocyla

One string of quests involved me saving the slaves, by grabbing them with this rope and slinging them back to me.  This is one mid-swing XD

230ocyla

and I’d like to point out, that screenshots rarely does this game justice, you have to see it in full motion to really get the best view of it.

After several more quests we trap a crab that is used to communicate with this giant creature.

231ocyla

Off to save it, I head near the top of it to beat a boss there, and run into a dwarf hunter named Berzer who invites me to party so we can both get it.  So nice! After the boss is destroyed, the creatures inner… blobs? form up to beat the naga inside.  It’s very Avatar.

232ocyla

Some other cute quests involved coating the divers with protective chemicals taken from the anemone’s  which attracts pet fish to them…

233ocyla

a quest where I can be a naga and see their viewpoint of some things…

234ocyla

and meet their queen

235ocyla

and help defend their area from vrykul looking guys. And while I was off doing some other quests after that, bad timing strikes the safe house I was helping protect.

236ocyla

I hit 82 shortly after this, and equip the necklace Stout made me, and replace 2 purple epics with…. greens. Sob!

Later that night I try to finish off the Final Judgment quest, but it appears that since the other players aren’t doing it right, the timer keeps resetting.  That or I am not doing it right.  On Wowhead it says to stay by the npcs, but I parked at the NPCs for like 20 minutes and didn’t get anywhere. The timer only shows up if you leave the building, even just slightly past it, but resets constantly, and if you are IN the building the mobs just spawn forever.

While that is going on my new guild is trying to find a healer for the Blood Ring thing, but the required level is 84 and I’m still 82.  I get a slightly sinking feeling about being excluded because of my level, thinking back to being 77 while all the 78+’s in Lineage 2 got to exp and party on Hellbound while I was left out, for months.  Fortunately I should hit the proper levels here, probably within the week. It’s not a good feeling to be left out soley on a level or 2 though.

A guild member, Dontpuntme sends me 3 stacks of Cinderbloom, of which I’ve found none yet, so I sent them all the Volatile Life I had, which they needed.  I had 9 at the time.  Apparently they are going for 30g per on the AH.

Mage Portals

Logged in to check out the guild, and we have 3 mages on, and one rogue, Rayzo. He talks about pick pocketing and I declare my love of ‘dastardly’ rogues. I train my skills.

Later I head out to the under water area, forget my mining pick, go back to SW, then port Leonz from Dal to SW, twice since I guess a mage has to stay in range for the portal to keep working, go back and start mining. I can use my turtle mount down here in the water so I don’t have to do all those quests to get the sea horse, yet. After 3 stacks of Obsidium Ore, I think that’s the name, I take a break.

Shinies!

This morning I log back into the cave, then head out to get my quests.  I find Budd, from yesterday, in a diving suit with a quest available.  Apparently he is still looking for “Shinies”!

The quests I am working on today involve more salvaging and helping people survive underwater.

This was a good one though, baiting explosives into food and blowing up a GIANT SHARK.

210ocyla

211ocyla

Apparently seeing how the bomb didn’t kill the shark is not putting off this guy though and he wants me to risk myself to get whatever he’s going after. The quest name is DUN-dun-DUN-dun-DUN-dun.. lol  I run out with a chain and catch the shark, then fire a giant harpoon at it.

212ocyla

213ocyla

Unfortunately now Budd is a bit… thinner.

214ocyla

but we break the item he had while he “looks the other way” and he’s back to normal.  Apparently it was cursed.

Then it’s off to use a scrying thing to find Private Pollard and you get a preview of how to get where he is, only it’s quite a distances from where you are.

After that I get to ride  SHARK to eat naga, wonderful!

215ocyla

Later on I rescue the soldiers bubbled by the naga…

216ocyla

fight the naga warden….

217ocyla

and get to see an awesome vision with a (damn) troll

218ocyla

and fight off swarms of naga

219ocyla

also once in a while a giant wave washes over the cave I am in, and the effect in motion is AWESOME. It also blows everyone BACK.

220ocyla

Then I get to mow down fleeding naga with a spear!  I tried to get a good picture of that but it didn’t work out.  But it was massively fun!

221ocyla

This quest involved running around to air sources, which bubbled up from various places, and filling this balloon up.

222ocyla

This one is just me killing a bunch of cool eel things.  My priest, oddly enough, does better at surviving melee damage than my mage.  Of course I am running around in my more defensive “pvp” disc spec too.

The rest of these, were just beautiful, absolutely amazing.

223ocyla
224ocyla
225ocyla

and this last one is me using Mind Vision on Kolorath, a giant boss that floats around randomly.  Level 85 elite.

226ocyla

A funny quest I did later, involved setting down a whirlwind and the swarming serpents get caught up in it, twirled around then die. I like that, creative.

227ocyla

Oh, and this item, it’s just funny.

228ocyla

Whisperwind is Full – Cataclysm

So ! I got my Cata box, licensed up and logged in to play.

202ocyla

AWWWWW!

I get in then chill out at the docks waiting for a boat, listening to the Stormwind Soldiers talking, with real voices, about the visit Deathwing made to the area.

203ocyla

And the NPC Budd, hilarious, dude, really. Love it!  And Mack Fearson, really, omg.  Fun already and I haven’t even done anything!  Bud leaps off the ship after a “shiny” LOL

Then some tentacles pop out of the water, grab me, throw me around and I sink unconcious into the water.  One of those earthen defenders show up and bubble me to safety.

204ocyla

and I go out and do the same thing for the drowning people.

205ocyla

The first armor quest I get, doesn’t have a single reward I can use.  Mail, Leather, and an axe. Bogus.

After a few quests we do one where we try to defend the ship, and a gol DANG naga takes me captive.

206ocyla

When I get dropped off I’m tasked with riding a sea turtle, only shortly after I get it, a Shark eats it out from underneath me. DAMN.

The Giblin (yes, like that) Collectors say funny things too like “What’s it got in its pockets? Hmm?” which is vaguely from The Hobbit. This whole area feels quite a bit like a new launch of a game, with people swiping every herb I see pop up, every quest item, before I can even get there.

Then I subdue an angry sea horse and receive it as a mount.

207ocyla

208ocyla

I take a quest where I find out if a smugglers cove is safe for someone, signal them to come in then finish the quest.

209ocyla

I also rescue the funny guy from earlier, Mack Fearson,  and the captain. I really, really hate to pry myself away from the game though, and go to bed XD

Binding heal use to be bogus

Today I started out in WG farming for herbs, and hit the queue as it first opened and queued for it. However when the time ticked down I was thrown out to just outside the area. Well at least that wasn’t back to SW. This is quite bogus though, almost never being able to get into WG. I did not get in at all, and horde took WG.

Later I came back in and queued for it, while key binding another spot for Binding Heal. Now I just have to “learn” where it is so I don’t have to think about it when I need it. I get in on WG and we have 16 people in the raid. I said in raid I didn’t think we’d get it because the horde is traveling in their usual packs breaking up vehicles, but even though I died many times, we do capture it! I then humbly retract my statement and note what an awesome job that was.

I also /thank a shadow priest by the name of Nynaeeve who stopped to help me kill 2 horde that were chasing me.

That night I go BGing with Janusz at Arathi Basin and it’s all wins. And he rolls in kitty form, I like kitties, it’s all good XD
