EotS went.. well?

Lot of pvp today, 2 wins, tons of losses, like horrible, horrible, what the hell are you guys doing losses.  I seriously am starting to think Alliance just logs in and walks away from battlegrounds.   No one can play that bad, unless it was purposeful.  Seriously!!

Though I did one EotS and paired up with a rogue named Dblkick and together we beat down all the horde that straggled into Blood Elf Tower. I was impressed.  I run far far too many battles where I run up on someone, heal and assist on the fight, and they run away the second the horde turns on me (yes, paladin Drum, looking at you).

Got down how to jump from the hill between Alliance camps in TB to the boat, and ended up spending like, 2 hours there chatting with Ladiesman, going back and forth on how to say things in broken Orcish and made it readable in common and vice versa.  I had wanted to test this before, but, we did it today, and it seems you have to break up words smaller for it to make sense.  Like Aa bc t r k might mean something but come out like I lo ve y ou.

At night, since I can’t raid tomorrow, I spent all night pvping and maxed honor for the second time today.  I was going to queue for a random but pugging it pretty much sucks, so I don’t.  I went and bought the spectral Baradins mount too, even if I prefer to ride my cat.

Playing with my rogue

Did the majority of my TB dailies today with Leonz, and ran a few battles, most of which went horrible wrong.  People yelling things like “hold hold” when we had 2 bases, and absolutely no one at the 3rd, like they don’t know how to read the map.  I comment about such and receive at least one “lol” in a pm from someone, and giggle over our failsauceness with Peejay, a paladin I ran dailies with the other day.

I figure out how to hop onto the boat like Ladiesman does and, after repeatedly stunning him, mid air on his bike, take some practice shots.   Could never seem to get one when I did it in the heat of the moment (and yes you stay stunned, in the air!)

Later I do a few bgs, and get a HORRIBLE AV where no one appears to know how to do anything, I run up to Tower Point by myself and dance with what else, a blood elf paladin for so long he starts /wave-ing back to me.  A DK joins me and we fight for like 5 minutes with no one else showing up.  Eventually a third alliance shows up and we kill the guy, but we get rushed by horde and cleared out of the tower.  Lose that miserably.

The next one was Strand, and 3 people including myself tell people what to do, and we do it, and win.  I decide not to push my luck and just stop for now.

Crushing Defeats in Tol Barad

Yesterday we had some crushing defeats at TB, but one win so I got the pvp dailies done. Also ran a few bgs but the only win was a sweep in EotS, which shocked all involved. 4 bases and 1600 points, couldn’t believe it.

At night I ran with the second group again and we got down the golem bosses, but wiped repeatedly on Maloriak, and spent a good deal of time just standing around figuring out who needed to do what. The tank went offline in the middle of a very good attempt, and never came back. We brought in Dpunisher, who I see in TB a lot, for one attempt, but after that several of us had to go. It would be helpful for new people demanding to be in raids to experience a full night of wipe attempts, on multiple nights, to understand EXACTLY why you can’t just throw a group together and succeed.

I like to watch rogues

Last night, went in healing in BWD with the second raid group we have going on. Stark difference here, it took us all night to kill just Magmaw rather than rolling the entire place and then some in one night. And we had a few people familiar with the fights helping out others who did not, which is just a good example of what I told Brd about needing to click as a group.

After that Ladiesman invited me to the arena in Stranglethorn to fight, but I just perched up high and Mind Visioned him fighting. The rogue play style, is awesome to watch up close, safely, without having to fight at all.

Ladiesman

Ran arena last night and won more than lost, and hit conquest cap.  Ran a few winning bgs too.

So, the rogue and I are on good enough terms to not kill each other outside of battles, but in, we still try to thrash to the death.
