Could it get any worse?

Wasn’t really happy about the raid last night.  SJ and I talked about how the raid was half pugs in the morning, and agreed that would not fly.  Tonight however Jan wanted to put a group together anyway. I said I did not want to run if it was half pugs, he said it would not be.  I dropped the 3v3 I was doing with Rashill and Leonz to join up, and sure enough, it was HALF PUGS.  I griped about this in officer chat and he said they are not pugs, they are friends.  I said PUGS, are anyone who is not a member of the guild.  He said they were all good and it was a good group.

Ugh.  Victory or Whatever killed Halfus shortly after we did, and when we were still mucking around at the twin dragons, they were on Cho’gall.  Some people continued to die to stupid avoidable mistakes, and naturally the pugs won all the BOE items.   The druid Jan invited, Peri, won the staff of mending worth around 20k, and “lost power” after the first fight and never came back.  So, another raid run where I got nothing.  We got up to Cho’gall but it was late and I wasn’t about to attempt it with some random ass group.  This will be the last raid I run with so many pugs it’s no longer a “guild” group.

Today I ran a 25m BH with an alt of Peejays who just happened to be invited, that plus my heroic run and I picked up my t11 robes that look… just like the robes I had. Maice came with me for that run, and we had an idiot hunter named Slayerr from Dark Iron who was wearing a level 1 hat that turned him into a gnome. I repeatedly asked him to put his real helm on, even saying maybe I should run around with half my gear off to no effect. I told him either put on a real helm, or I’m kicking him. He replied “but I’m doing top dps” like that is a good reason to not wear the right gear (9k dps, below Maice and the warrior) and I kicked him.

Sometimes guildies are worse than pugs

Ran my daily with mostly guildies… and um, we’re kind of back at the point that I am reconsidering asking guild people to come with me. The mage was doing 10k, the warrior 7k (tanking), and the shadow priest… 5k. I had to heal like it was a Chimaeron fight and drink after nearly every pull, and shadow fiend and hymn of hope during every boss and still nearly lost people. Not a good situation.

Last night while I ran my daily, I watched Peejay’s live stream of a heroic Valiona/Theralion raid. Went with Maice, Sj on his rogue, and a new guy Spanishfly (I think) on his warrior. It went brutal slow, with SJ doing about 8k dps on his rogue, and the warrior, who was not tanking doing 4k. I asked Maice at one point, during a boss battle, if I should “get out and push”. 2 more dailies and I can get my t11 robe.

Resident is a Jerk

Logged in and asked if anyone wanted to do a random. No responses. Got picked up by Peejay for his second group raid, and since we didn’t raid, I went and got Atramedes down but did not get Chimaeron.

Resident is still telling people who join to “get out” and the guys seem to think she and I have a big problem. Not really, but when you log in, say bitchy things in guild including a “meh” about whether or not the guild is helpful, and don’t participate in raids, don’t give to the guild bank, don’t run bgs/arena/dungeons with random guildies, I start to think you may be more trouble than it’s worth.

After my raid I asked again about a random and went with one of our druids, Maice, SJ on his rogue. I’m close to getting my t11 robe that has crit rating instead of mastery, which I don’t want. My current robe is actually better, IMO, but no tier bonus.
