I’ve done about 12 marks of the world tree so far. I’ve had a lot more time to get misc stuff done since I’m not on a regular raiding schedule any more.
This week I was invited to team 3’s raid where we had planned on clearing out all raids. We did all of BoT and I got the shoulders from Cho’gall, got a spirit helm (crown of burning waters) which was a massive upgrade from the 346 blue I still had, got a nice crit trinket (Bell of Enraging Resonance) I will use when I make a frost raid spec (arcane is so boring) and we cleared all of BWD.
It’s kind of like Wrath all over again when I finally got the LK down after so many fails where it’s like, that was it? Granted it has been nerfed, so it’s easier but I can definitely say whatever went wrong the other times, it wasn’t healers causing the trouble. And now finally, all my gear MATCHES!
We should be trying for Ala’kir tomorrow. That will be interesting since I’ve only ever healed, and on the Rohash platform.
My shaman was already in it, but last night I joined Victory or Whatever on my priest too. Everyone seems ok, when people ask to run a group there’s not just dead air, the bank is full of useful items arranged nearly, etc. No idea if I’ll be raiding because I can’t see doing it with Arkwin, ever, but I don’t even care right now.
So continuing from yesterday, I had an Ahune group with my priest where we wiped once after still not getting him down on the 3rd phase, then a second attempt where on the 4th he was at 40% and regenning. Left that one, got another and got it.
then picked up again on the Thrall quest where a giant version of him is being beaten up by doubts again.
and this one showed up where he’s wishing he could make peace. Well, if that happens, who will I get to kill? I mean, someone needs killing.
Then it was off to the earth version of this where I was nice and left the horde alone. This one you got to travel underground again like another quest out here that I can’t quite recall.
Then we’re off to Firelands where Thrall is on fire and you have to defend Aggra’s totems. I joined up with two mages and killed a bunch of horde, and nearly died to a warrior, but other alliance helped peel him off me. I’ve been getting a beat down by warriors quite a bit in fact, ran into THREE in TB that teamed up and killed me, and one persistent, difficult one by the name of Isenguard gave me a real hard time. Was impressed honestly.
and, we saved Thrall and he proposes to his woman. Aww? Meh orcs.
Anyway, I know this guy is a blue dragon and all, but why can’t the human males look this decent, instead of retarded cave men?
Ran TB and we defended the first one without them getting any towers down. I did not die once, at slags the entire time.
Some side notes, I dual spec’d my shaman, which was only TEN GOLD now as elemental. I think they need to rename that to “that skill is not ready yet” spec. It’s ok on a single mob, but when you have to switch to another and flame shock and lava burst, and maybe even earth shock are BOTH on CD, it’s uh, kind of silly. I mean yeah I can lightning bolt! lightning bolt! but I will definitely need to set up power auras to show me when all my long CD skills are available.
Why do people ask, generally in guild chat, if someone has (insert semi valuable item here) by chance? Could be a cut gem, flasks, or anything else in the 100-200g variety. To me that means you want it for free, or at some kind of guild discount. I don’t like either. Stuff like that can be sold for money, to people with money, paying full price, on the AH. Why would I not do that? I’m curious. I give away valuable things to friends time to time but as I had talked about before it’s generally because they do things like tank dungeons for me, help me in arena, make me glyphs, whatever. There’s just a lot more things one could do even with a gem they don’t need other than giving it away. /shrug But I’m never broke for a reason.
Also, Leonz is quitting WoW to go to Rift, and Rinni is off to Afghanistan, sadface, there goes my 3’s team.
