Alliance is so bad

Ran two EoTs with Jan, Maice, and Truii on his rogue, and we lost both. Alliance is so bad.

Then got together with Pom’s group for rbgs, lost AB, then lost Gilneas. It wasn’t even a good loss either, it was stuff like having 2 at WW, no one at mines, but not being able to take LH back. Or taking LH, leaving it abandoned and a single horde taking it. AB was a little better though I was at WW during Gilneas the whole time with nothing to do, with one other person. They called that as fail.

Then did some arena 3’s with Jan and Nilv, then with Maice. 2 healers doesn’t work so well but we got a win or two with the DK. Tonight has been frustrating with only losing rating.

Last night we cleared the rest of the bosses and were finished at like, 9:30? I think.  I had a number of stupid deaths, wasn’t really happy.  Died at the end of Rhyolith skipping over a fire trail I couldn’t really see because of where the boss was, died on the trash to Rag TWICE, once when I was being spun around casting penance on Jeeves and again camera angle made me miss I was standing in shit, and didn’t get out of that fire plume fast enough on the dragons and died. Sigh.  One of those nights I guess.

Anyway, have 4 pc t12 now when I was the only roll (21 ffs!) on the shoulders token.

We also had um, 2 wipes on Baleroc I think because I wasn’t getting heals off quick enough and was confused at first about when to switch.  We two healed that one when usually we have three.  After that we tried heroic Throne of the 4 Winds but that proved to be too much and did it on normal (I recall Peejay saying it was heavily comp dependant) and tried heroic Ala’kir and ended up just doing that normal too.

Finally got “Storm Capper” in EoTS even though we lost terribly.  I held the flag for 5+ mins and we didn’t get any other bases.  Alliance was busy in mid, even though WE HAD THE FLAG. It took 3 of these (call to arms) to get a win.

Last night we did some little side battles to get Skitmo part of that legendary staff.

at one point he turned into that awful druid healing tree model, to which someone said “damn skit you ugly!” ha ha, no kidding.

We spent the rest of the night finally getting Heroic Shannox down, then tried Heroic Rhyolith but didn’t get that.  My numbers in disc spec, are impressive at anywhere from 12 to 20k.  I still feel it has to do with how recount counts the healing though, since I am certainly not physically doing any more healing than I was as holy.  I’m hoping we do regulars tomorrow so I can maybe have a chance at the shoulders.

The hunter we’ve been bringing, Turtles, has been eh, a bit of an annoyance.  Lots of not listening, like missing the cauldron being put down even though it was announced, being told repeatedly to eat the feast, doing the wrong thing in raids and flat out admitting they “weren’t listening” to the instructions. Etc.  Kind of frustrating.

For some reason Bbqtwilight was harrassing people in Goldshire, and I caught her in the middle of hearthing out.

Yesterday was sort of rough on RBGs.  Pomstar, who leads Pwnography, runs rbgs on a regular basis with varying degrees of success depending on who goes.  Anyway he was looking for healers so I said I’d go, and found myself in a 3rd group of 4 total.  He said we were making two group, but he was the only one leading so after cherry picking his own team and asking someone to lead the second one, they went off to start doing battles while the rest of us were kind of hung out to dry.  Vagisil (with the funny A) lead the second group after another hour or so, and we got Gilneas but did terrible and lost.  It took SO long to get going (near an hour and a half total at least) that I had to go at that point.

Later on I logged in and got a group with Peejay, but the flag carrier and I were running around together alone, and every time 5-7 of the enemy came and pounded me into the dirt.  We lost that too.

At night I ran rbgs with guild, and got Jan invited part way through.  We lost… 2-3, I think, and won 4.  My rating is up to 1475 so I have the Master Sergent title now.  I also picked up the helm and it looks BA’d enough to display.

The funny thing is, one of the battles was an AB and we ran into a Pwnography group.  The names I recognized were Healcrit, Badbadnyc,  Bloodylyfe (something like that) and Sieban.  Wasn’t impressed with any of them.  And by impressed I mean, did they put enough pressure on me that I had to focus on my own survival to the point I couldn’t heal anyone else, or were they injuring my  raid mates enough that I had to use my CDs.  Neither of those things happened and I just danced around the flag spamming holy nova, and fearing as it came up, and mana burned Healcrit.

Old dungeon blues cost too much

Today I was on my shaman trying to get enough honor, to covert to JP, to get my t11 set.  I have robe, pants, and gloves at this point, and VP boots.  I am curious though, why the old dungeon blues cost as much as the epics.

During one WSG battle when I jokingly said I would if we WON when someone said “tits or gtfo” I ended up making real id friends with Octavious from Hellscream. We managed to get into the same AV by queuing in a real id party together at the same time.  I mean, I don’t think the party mattered but it worked.

Later on we had, which had to be without a doubt, the WORST Tol Barad battle I’ve ever been in.  I started out on my shaman and ran to ICG, where I remained solo nearly the entire time while it turned.  Then horde flooded in and took it back.  I switched to my priest, and it just got even worse from there.  We had people staying as ghosts and doing nothing but walking around, we had rogues staying in stealth and merely watching while I took a beat down trying to find someone to heal.  We had people die and stay dead the entire time, then we had seriously about half the raid, just leave.  Horde had probably 5-8 people at every single base, we had maybe 15 people total, with only 5 trying to attack.  We went a good 15 mins at 0/3.

Knowing it was hopeless, and finding no one to heal to help even get to a base, I stayed near the bridge while a hunter and Yomomma tried to kill me.  I ended up catching Yomomma in a fear near the rocks and threw him down.

After it ended I hopped down there to see him nearly kill a DK, but I grabbed him with another MC and tossed him into the water, barely saving the alliance person.  We both dropped down and he sapped the DK all the way back to the Alliance camp, where he again tried to kill the dk.  But, I was annoying and yanked another MC and walked him to the guards, where he died.
