Catching up on some old images. Brewfest is on this week and I drank myself into a near coma and got to see the pink elekk’s around the brewfest area.

Conquix took me to BWL which I’d never done before

only my internet kept dropping like crazy which caused issues, naturally.

I know it sounds like a dumb thing to say, since BWD is in the same place as BWL, but seeing the dragons hanging from chains on the ceiling, well BWD had the same thing.

Anyway I lost internet connection before seeing the Nefarion kill but I mind visioned Con and saw some of it.

Then I went with a rogue named Trivium to Tempest Keep, where Serilla/Rhaego/Irri joined us and got a kill after several attempts. For some reason even though we had 5 people they were choosing to pull the last boss to close to the entrance which seemed to not help anything other than waste time.

But I did get my avatar robes, now I just need to work on gloves and possibly the helm if I choose to display it.

So. Holybo has not been online for about a week, and Con declined the raids for this weekend. When I asked Vorios about it I was told that, our raid team, is gone. Con is quitting, and Vorios is no longer raiding. So we lost 2 tanks, one being a raid leader, and probably a healer, just like that. We have no raid team, it’s gone. I’m a bit shocked from going from 3/7 heroic with no reason we couldn’t do 5/7 to, not having a team.

He sent me 20k gold and a living ember. So I managed to stop crying in my cups long enough to tell him he was a great raid leader. I was truly impressed at the flexibility he was able to demonstrate switching people around when something wasn’t working, changing raid tactics when people weren’t performing properly to get a kill anyway, managing gear disputes, etc, and above all really never resorting to getting loud or insulting.

I’m kind of /wrist-ing right now.

This raid weekend, we did not have Holybo for some reason so we brought in a holy paladin. We got down heroic Shannox and Rhyolith, but I had to make special efforts to help on healing Con during Shannox, and put out 18k heals on Rhyo. I joked to Sealan, who was teasing me about being carried by Sage, that I ruled that fight.

We also got down regular Beth, and then switched over to trying heroic Chimaeron.

A holy pally, disc priest, and resto druid probably wasn’t the best comp for it, but the healing went poorly. One attempt the paladin had no healing at all, others no healing went out until a good 10 seconds into the fight. So we just called it. I did get the heroic Coalwalker Sandals that night though, which need a new category of OiS (only in slot) seeing that they are the ONLY heroic CLOTH boots in Firelands, period. So whether you are any flavor priest, mage, warlock, you’ll want this. So dumb. There are crafted non heroic boots for holy/disc with spirit and crafted ones with hit for everyone else but having 1 option other than paying for a craft or whatever is pretty lame. I raid for a reason and it’s not so I can buy gear with gold.

Saturday both Holybo and Raliden were missing, so I brought in Nilvana, and we brought in Kenthra, again. I was a little surprised at that after the Rag problem with him some weeks back. Anyway we did Baleroc and I had an amazing 42k heals, Nilv had 17k, and Sage had 7k. 3 healing that was such a relief.

We also tried heroic Staghelm, and one attempt got him down to 5% but I died to a jump and it went downhill fast after that. But, I wasn’t surprised we didn’t get it. An undergeared healer, who has never been in Firelands, was probably not going to happen, but it was a good try. Also tried heroic Alysrazor and I think with the normal group we can get that. The hunter died, A LOT as well. We did Stag on normal, but at Rag Kenthra DC’d and it was called when it looked like he was not coming back. So we miss Rag this week again.

Someone is going to be mad.

Did rbgs yesterday, went 4-1, not bad, even won one Gilneas. Had an epic flag carry in WSG when we killed their druid EFC so close to the turn in point, his body looked like he was nearly touching the spot. The guy stayed dead like that for a big, I imagine a lot of raging was going on by someone.

6th Anniversary

I log in and get my 6th anniversary achievement, and take some pictures of the little hobbit-like homes in the Loch Modan area that I like a lot.

I run around and pick up some new flight points while queuing for WG. The battle starts and I don’t get in. While I’m waiting I run around Badlands and check out the Tomb of the Watchers, which appears to be basically empty. Well except for the giant statues.
