Last night I ran a few old dungeons and had an AMAZING tank who spoke English from GOLDRINN. Couldn’t believe it.  We ran through every thing like CRAZY.

Jan asked me to do bgs so I dropped that group to do it, we had Wrathofgod again and some Bubbledin paladin, which I think we had before.  Some paladin always “claims” healing Wrath like they are dating or something.  We did an AB against what they called a 15 man premade (which I didn’t think you could do outside of RBGs?) with 5 rogues but we smoked them anyway.  Rogues were bad, imo.  Anyway I was at farm and the paladin told me I could leave.  I was like “I could” and didn’t leave.  I had just done my best to keep 4 dps from capping the farm flag, YOU fuck off and go somewhere else.

Then I got this compliment in a WSG.  That warrior basically stood there and watched those 3 horde beat on me for like 5 minutes, while he was busy killing the DKs GHOUL.  Kid you not.

We won all 3 or… 4 we did, I lost track.

While I was waiting on this group someone named Dirtypally asked me to do 3’s with a double ret team.  I was afk for a few minutes when I got that message and I got “I guess that’s a no”.

I really hate that, don’t be a brat?  I was afk and couldn’t respond right away.

Then while I was doing the bgs I got “I know you are bging but could we do 3’s I gotta go to bed early”.  Again, brat much?  This is on par with “I don’t have all day”.  In other words “I need a favor from you, and drop whatever you are doing and be quick about it”.  Yeah, no.  I can only imagine the raging in 3’s if we lost from someone with this much “patience”.

Queueing as dps stinks

I really, really hate solo queuing with my mage. Got in WoE and the tank goes offline straight away. The healer then leaves. We get a new tank/healer who both immediately leave. So frustrating. I then do 40% of the dps in that group.

Before we got to the first boss, the 3rd healer left and another came in.

Finally removed that Subzero pally from my real id today. I never got a message anything other than “come heal this for me” with varying levels of impatience including phrases like “plz I dont have all day”. Today it was “hey are you running dungeons can I come and dps I need BOA gear for a new char I wanna make”. I said I was already running one to play with a new spec. He asked which spec and I said “atonement” . On the healing forums saying “atonement” is understood to mean disc with evangelism/archangel/atonement.

He informed me that priests have “disc, holy and shadow” and not a 4th spec called that. I said I know that. I was still in the same dungeon I was when he originally asked for a run, so he said I “was funny” and asked for a run again. I was like holy shit dude I am STILL in a dungeon. He was like “well ok after than plz I need JP”. So I removed him. I don’t play that.

I’ve been running the original cata dungeons for the stories it brings but gosh, it’s been so bad in some cases I just leave. I had a SFK where the dps was so slow I was in my add on menus tweaking stuff for like 5 mins at a time before anything got killed. I left that halfway through. Even me doing like 10k dps wasn’t making it go any faster. I had a really terrible BRC which I wrote about here which I left after Karsh. I wonder how discouraged people get when they don’t get a heroic geared healer carrying them along.

Anyway let’s see, Karma asked me to run 2’s with him but I said first he would have to give me a really hard time in a duel before I did that. He asked why and I said if you can’t put pressure on me I don’t want to do arena. I don’t need to and I don’t want to if it’s gonna be a pain.

Drunken Raid Night

No more about the annoying pally, and the other pally who goes by various “Saint” names is very pleasant to talk to.  Offers to fast queue my mage quite a bit too, even though I’m typically doing raids, or something.

Did some old raids for our “drunken raid night” and polished off part of Naxx (I came in late), killed that damn purple dragon in RS that I don’t think we ever got a kill on, and Onyxia.  I won 2 tokens from Naxx which will give me a halo head piece and shoulders with wings.  I like it!  I will transmog the helm on both of my sets.

Reins of the Blue Protodrake

Ran UP with Subzero even though he wanted to run like other dungeons after it. He kept telling me to not use freeze because he was tanking (and taking a beating doing it) and I said 1) I can solo this place and 2) my frost freezies give me more damage besides the crowd control.

At the last boss the sword he wanted dropped, and it looked quite good so I didn’t roll right away. I let him sweat a bit and repeatedly ask “plz I need it plez can I have it plz” before I passed. Kids.

I solo’d UP the next day and got Reins of the Blue Protodrake. :) yay! I told him about it and just got a “…. ” lol.
