Logged in and saw that WG was already in progress so ran and queued up for it.  Other than an annoying Tauren shaman standing on the inner west wall blasting people, it wasn’t very eventful and we spent another round grinding horde into their own camp.  I forgot to equip my pvp gear but I still didn’t die at all the entire time!

I then get in a Vault of Archavon (VOA) 10 man group and it takes forever to find a second healer.  Then a tank drops and we have to wait another 10 minutes or so for another. Nothing cloth drops, at all.

VOA 25 I’d rather not talk about but basically a warrior decides to take on trash mobs, I get flattened by a rogue mob and die, and the group basically wipes.  We then try to go again short 1 healer and wipe half the group again.  We fail miserably at the Frost boss, about 6 people leave, we regroup and get him down.  Nothing cloth drops.  We also do the fire boss and again, nothing cloth drops. It took me a full hour or so to do these 2, I was kind of pissed. The frost mage crows that she had 7600 dps, mostly by not ever switching to the Frozen Orbs, adding yet another mage to my list of mages that suck.  I haven’t found a pleasant one yet anyway.

I then queue for my dungeon daily and get Violet Hold (VH) and we do ok. I get the Dehydration achievement from the water boss.

It is difficult to heal and hide the interface at the same time XD

Second boss is the fire dog, who is the model for the pet that comes with purchasing an authenticator.

We down the angry blue dragon with no trouble at all.  I get my frost badges, and win disenchant rolls on both pieces of armor (my rolls are hax all around) and log shortly after.

I get in on a guild run, my old one, with the mage and we get down Rotface. Putricide is another story however and it feels like we’re back in May when this shit first started coming out and no one knew what to do. We wipe when our warlock, who is forever making mistakes, bombs a group of us with the orange slime and I die.

On the way back a healer DC’s and doesn’t come back so we’re basically ruined for the night. We try to go to Blood Prince but wipe on trash (though I blink, run and inviz and survive) and we call it. Well, that was fun. One boss.

I do my fishing daily and call it a night.

I had put up like 63 Dragonfin Angelfish on the AH and unfortunately they all came back to me after not selling.  I must remember to do stacks next time.  I am unable to buy Northern Spices still and feeling bad for Rayzo, I go buy 20 of them and mail him a /comfort package of 20 Blackened Dragonfin.

When I get in later Maice, on Nilvana, gets me in a 25 man ICC.  We run flawless through Blood Princes and I’m embarrassed to say that today I got my 25 man Plagueworks achievement. I didn’t realize I was in so many fail groups for so long.

During Lana’thel however, things go poorly when people have trouble biting other people and we die repeatedly because mind controlled players are not a good thing.  On the third wipe we get her down to 200k and still fail it.

I am not the least bit angry though to be honest, because I hate the biting part.  It’s bad enough finding a person in 10 man but in 25 it’s next to impossible.  I purposely do next to no dps at the start so I don’t get bitten first.  I hate the biting part.  On the 4th try I manage my bite fine though and earn The Crimson Hall 25 player achievement.

We go on to get Dreamwalker and clear the trash up to Sindragosa, then call it.  The raid leader notes that he would like to keep the same group together and will only invite the non fail people.  I get an invite shortly after that and I’m happy.

During the run I notice that I didn’t other setting hardly any arcane glyphs, and Nilvana makes me one.  The arcane glyphs are still fairly limited, and the rotation has changed next to not changed at all. Frost and fire are still more fun.

I read on the forums that the Wrathful pvp gear, which is currently the top set, is available for purchase with honor and the 2000 arena score is ignored.  I run to the Veteran Arena guy in Dalaran sewers and sure enough it is! I buy the weapon, wand, offhand, robe, pants, and gloves without hesitation.  I spend something like 9,000 honor for it.  Some people say it’s bugged and Blizzard may remove the gear so I an hesitant on enchanting and gemming it.

I run WSG and Eye of the Storm (EotS) and we lose badly both times.

Only Arashikage is on so we go run Zul’Gurub and I get my Deadliest Catch achievement.

The tiger boss is down, which is boo!  He has the cat I want already.

I see two different groups trying for the Lich King tonight so I switch to my mage and join up.  The group “only” needs 2 tanks and 2 healers which is little better than “we got nothing”.

We get the healers and the tank and have the usual bout of retards who can’t get into vent, or don’t have headsets, etc. I more or less tell one of them they are being stupid and they insist they are not. Whatever. Then we get to Sindragosa’s Lair and someone pulls the Whelps with no one ready or buffed.  Then the healer says she doesn’t even fucking know the fight.  Yeah, wow, this is starting out so fail I don’t even know where to go.

More than one person in the group admits they don’t even know the Sindragosa fight so I ask in vent if anyone here has downed the LK yet.  They all say no.  It’s like wow holy shit how can you start up a LK killing group and you don’t even know the fight???  I want to blast them all to cinders where they stand OMG. I am clearly just wasting my flipping time right now, but it’s nearly 10 pm and I’m already locked into this disaster.  Thank GOD in the expansion you won’t get locked unless you down a boss.

Excluding the AOE damage, the dps can only be described as “suck ass” with some people below 5k so we’re clearly going nowhere tonight.  I’ll give it my 3 death try rule though. (I will not die more than 3 times in a pug on anything)

Stuff like this is why people say, MUST KNOW FIGHTS.  It’s because those of us that have run it 10000 times already, don’t have to put up with wet behind the ears people and we don’t have to listen to how to do it for the hundred millionth time. Oh and have the inevitable wipes because people don’t know what to do.

We fail miserably 3x in a row and I tell them it’s later than I thought which is way more polite than I figured I’d be and drop vent and group.  Yeah thanks for wasting my time people. Remind me next time to ask if they have even done LK BEFORE joining. I log out.
