Soo today, and pictures later, I did all my TB dailies, all the Therazane ones, ran 2 TB battles, didn’t get in 2 battles.  Had some fun standing near the guards in TB again and running out to help alliance kill flagged horde.  I spent some time with Maice teasing one called Rayslayz, almost killing each other back and forth for several minutes, while throwing out my kisses.  After Maice left I continued to do so but neither one of us died.   I already knew you could stand by the guards and still get ranged attacked, but a boomkin today was going fing NUTS on me with moonfire while the guards stood there idle.  Seems quite bogus.

However later a shaman tried the same trick, and I just ran over to him and the guards kicked his ass, then another horde did the same, and got a beat down.

I went in two WG battles, and the funny thing is, it was Leonz and I to start, both times.

After that he shows me this outfit, which is AWESOME.

We do Bastion of Twilight and get the council bosses down, and I really liked that fight. I went disc for that since for once, there wasn’t an insane amount of full raid damage.  then head to Cho’gall.

At this point it’s around 11:40, and a bit after midnight I need to go, and some other people too so we call it.  I earned a nice purple necklace, Valiona’s Medallion to replace a blue I still had from the twin dragons, earlier in the raid.  I also pick up Heavenly Breeze, an epic 359 cloak, and enchant it.

Speaking of enchants, I am a little surprised at the number of level 85’s running around missing 5-7 enchants on their gear.  You will be missing a significant amount of important stats, missing that many bonuses to your gear.  Another item of note is people that have no idea what to enchant.  I helped a priest last night fill the 7 missing enchants, Shafoxx, and as of this morning the items are enchanted, according to wowarmory.  I think that was simply a matter of needing to know what to get.

Brdlady on the other hand, was missing 5 enchants last night and when I asked if she took care of that, said she was just missing a robe enchant, but as of right now (12+ hours later), is still missing 5.  We also got into a discussion how mages have no business rolling on spirit gear any more.  It use to be slightly acceptable in Wrath since you got bonuses to Molten Armor for spirit, but that is no longer the case.  The only reason to do so, would be if no one in the group needed the item, and the mage was using like… a green, or something.   She said she wanted it to boost her item level so she could raid with us, but I pointed out we aren’t blinded by ilevel and will be looking at gear too.  I, once again, don’t expect her to last long.

The raid tonight was 10 man, which I do prefer, but I would like to see us in 25 man to get everyone who wants to come in.  However that doesn’t mean taking people improperly geared, since that just means everyone else has to carry them.  That won’t work out.

Today I log in to do 2’s and get in a TB battle, which we actually win! Couldn’t believe it.  Of course someone said the horde probably want to run TB on their Alliance alts, which.. would be lame.  Still, we got it.

Afterward we form up for BH and get that boss the first try. No cloth drops though.

Later I get on the next battle, and run in flagged just in time to get the win though, and run into my Ladiesman rogue, but the Alliance around me aren’t helping out so I die. To wear off the pvp flag I go stand in a group of these Alliance guards…

and as a horde runs past I stun them, and they run in to their deaths as they try to kill me.  Those TB guards, are no joke.  I know, they wreck my junk when I do the same thing on the Horde side.  However,  I had to laugh! Then twice my rogue “friend” runs in, once gets killed by the guards, and another time has to bail over the edge to get away from some alliance.  The third time I watch from my ring of guards, while he heads closer to the Alliance camp and stand flagged, on a rock looking down on our camp.  I forget to take a screenshot but since I am not flagged I just watch him on his motorcycle.  It must be a rogue thing, since Stout has the same one.  I had half a mind to stun with a Chastise and levitate down to my camp, but I figure I’d behave myself for once.

We also went on to kill Halfus, Valiona and Theralion in Bastion of Twilight.

I get a new pair of bracers too (Bracers of the Bronze Flight), so very happy, was wearing pvp bracers for a long while ><

Ran my TB dailies but didn’t get to the pvp ones before the battle started.  We defended it, then ran the other dailies with Rexe and another character whose name escapes me but said they knew me on Chmar and that I’ve saved them many times.

When the next battle comes up I pair up with Rexe again, we defend again, and I don’t die the entire battle.  I now have enough badges to get my DRAKE!

I switch from holy spec to disc too, and redo all my keybinds to be in a more logical order so when the game puts me in a vehicle or a gun, etc, they are on my most used keys rather than ones not in good locations.

Holy still has way, way more tools than disc does, but I am hoping with the new patch they boost us quite a bit.  There is also no reason to have 2 holy healers at a raid, among all the holy healers we already have.  I took the archangel build also to at least give me a few more options than bubble, to compensate for the loss of spirit of redemption, light well, circle of healing, guardian spirit, chakra and all the holy words… sigh.  Yes, this disc patch better be GOOD.

Anyway! Tonight we get down the first three bosses in Blackwing Descent, and Atramedes!  Then we try Chimaeron.

It’s one of those healing fights, ewww.  But it’s late, and we call it after a few attempts.

After that I get in on a TB, that we lost to the horde at some point, and we do not take it.  When the battle ends I pair up with a paladin named Wilks in killing a few horde on the way out, and I get thanked for healing and we take his chopper out, off the bridge and into the water. I comment that I wondered what would happen if you fell off the bridge and he said nothing, and you can just swim around to the Alliance camp.  Good to know, since some fall zones you just die (like in Outland).

Today I run the TB dailies solo, and farm for many hours to make 8 Flasks of Draconic Mind.  8 takes about 5 stacks of 2 kinds of herbs right now.

I run TB a few times and run into Rexe, we take it around lunch time and we do those  pvp dailies together.  I need about 20 more badges to get my dragon, yay!

Later that night, rather than doing 2v2s, we do Bastion of Twilight and get the two dragons down. And this trash, is nasty, like ICC boss nasty if you can believe it.

On a roll with gear

I ran the TB dailies with Leonz, then we went to do Bastion of Twilight. This time we get  down Halfus on the FIRST TRY and I get Robes of Burning Acolyte. It is purple, and looks JUST LIKE THE T11. Sigh. Then Linden gets an epic staff, so healers are on a roll tonight!

Valoina and Theralion, were a bit of a pain though. A lot of group up spread out over and over, while also needing to stay close enough to easily avoid half a room of flame breath.
