Crushing Defeats in Tol Barad

Yesterday we had some crushing defeats at TB, but one win so I got the pvp dailies done. Also ran a few bgs but the only win was a sweep in EotS, which shocked all involved. 4 bases and 1600 points, couldn’t believe it.

At night I ran with the second group again and we got down the golem bosses, but wiped repeatedly on Maloriak, and spent a good deal of time just standing around figuring out who needed to do what. The tank went offline in the middle of a very good attempt, and never came back. We brought in Dpunisher, who I see in TB a lot, for one attempt, but after that several of us had to go. It would be helpful for new people demanding to be in raids to experience a full night of wipe attempts, on multiple nights, to understand EXACTLY why you can’t just throw a group together and succeed.

Last night, went in healing in BWD with the second raid group we have going on. Stark difference here, it took us all night to kill just Magmaw rather than rolling the entire place and then some in one night. And we had a few people familiar with the fights helping out others who did not, which is just a good example of what I told Brd about needing to click as a group.

After that Ladiesman invited me to the arena in Stranglethorn to fight, but I just perched up high and Mind Visioned him fighting. The rogue play style, is awesome to watch up close, safely, without having to fight at all.

Worship

Last night we attempted Cho’gall for a few hours, but did not get it. We got to third phase though and should probably get it next time. We’ll need to call our interrupts a little better, since it seemed like when Bobby and I were forced to worship, it took longer to break us out of it because we weren’t able to use psychic scream. Also several times a person getting the worship thing was nowhere near someone who could CC, and we had to waste time running over there first.

Afterward we did Conclave of Wind and got that no problem. I got tossed off the ledge twice but this time, both times, I was carried back to the platform rather than being tossed into oblivion. Bobby rezzed me one of the times which saved it also.

Today I ran several TBs and twice we took it in under 10 minutes.

Then tonight we finished up the achievements that got me this lovely lady:

That’s not how things work

The short of it, I was right, Brdlady left guild today after bitching about not getting in raids, after her friend Shafoxx threw a fit and also left. This was during a raid so most of us didn’t have time to properly address the bitching, either.  Jan was trying to explain the logistics of why you don’t swap out new people into a raid all the time, but they didn’t care.

The difference there was she was at a 25 man raid, and we were doing 10.  Obviously everyone that wants to go, can’t go when you need to drop 15 people.

Ok, you go “plug it better”.  Pugging these raids, right now, won’t work, but GL with that.

We got down the Conclave of Wind, and all but the last boss in BWD.  No cloth dropped, and I recorded Atramedes, but we’ll see how that gets put together since my screen is kind of spazy looking around for people to heal and bubble.
