I keep running into this rogue, Unlimitedwar, in Hellfire, and they are just crazy slippery. Got him down to about 30k before he used Aviana’s Feather and flew off, but got out of range before I could see if the bleeds took care of it.
Constant burst of speed is annoying. I end up playing rubber band catch-up where I’m not close enough to attack, but too close to Wild Charge or Skull Bash. But man I WILL get this rogue.
I tried to take this guy out 3 times, and it was a no go. Because reasons:
50k obliterates, really? Then I waited with Burstdatzz (SilentStorm, who was a druid I met when causing wpvp in Elwynn Forest I believe) and we had to 2v1 him, which prompted this message
Ya rilly. He did all that damage through survival instincts and incarnation too. Sigh.
I went out to Icecrown today to see who was attacking the airship, and I ran into a 100 alliance paladin standing by an 80 something horde DK, with the DK killing npcs. I killed him. The paladin called me a meanie. I said some rude things.
The DK came back, I typhooned him off. The ground did all the work. Paladin called me mean again. Ok. I know this.
I informed the paladin that he was a traitor and if I could I’d kill him too. Yeah ok I kind of RP sometimes. He wanted to duel over control of the area. Sure!
and it was decided the boat is mine by fair combat.
Shortly after, btag invite (Merlant, Jowalsh79) and request for arena. He seemed confused I have 0 rating. I kind of like that way. People who die to me in wpvp got no rating to throw in my face, literally.
I forgot that, even after the ability prune, monks are still awesome. I miss stealing and holding other peoples weapons, but the rest isn’t a big deal. I got it to 93 so far. I also love AV and to a lesser extend, IoC. We do win sometimes but I just love open maps and the mini-battles all over.
Healing dungeons thus far is fairly easy too.
I like this better than my holy paladin, so I think that will stay ret.
Only took months.

I’ve been recording all my wpvp shenanigans, so no screenshots of that lately. I can’t even remember the last time anyone got me 1v1 either.
