Oh you healers

I get in on a guild run, my old one, with the mage and we get down Rotface. Putricide is another story however and it feels like we’re back in May when this shit first started coming out and no one knew what to do. We wipe when our warlock, who is forever making mistakes, bombs a group of us with the orange slime and I die.

On the way back a healer DC’s and doesn’t come back so we’re basically ruined for the night. We try to go to Blood Prince but wipe on trash (though I blink, run and inviz and survive) and we call it. Well, that was fun. One boss.

I do my fishing daily and call it a night.

I don’t miss tenacity

Logged in and did my fishing daily, running into Rexe doing the same thing.

Turned it in and earned some Gold Coins which I sold and Pygmy Oils.  I queue up for WG and get in with 8 other people, which grows to around 20.  I spent the  majority of my time destroying sieges coming out of Sunken

though it’s even MORE fun to have the horde jump out, kick their ass, then kill their vehicle too.  I do not miss tenacity at ALL, because I can actually kill horde like in  BGs now. They breached through to inner and had a siege on the steps, but we broke it up and won, it was very close. That was a ton of fun!

VOA25

I log on to get in on a sorta guild run of VOA 25. Full clear.

 

Well, I haven’t been on this char for a while, and I feel like pvping.  I queue up and get EotS. There is the usual insulting on the alliance side of how much everyone “sucks”.   One guy gloats about how his dps is better than someones elses and I point out he’s 10th on my dps list so he shouldn’t brag.  Then he says he’s trying to win and not do damage, right after bragging about his damage. Good stuff.  Then he leaves an opening I just can’t skip over!

We do lose, though.

Next is up is WSG where we’re already up 2 flags, and we win shortly after I join. 109 honor for doing next to nothing.

Then we have AV which takes forever and I stop… somewhere…Frostwolf, I think, and we do ok until around 10 horde come in and roll us all. We lose, but it was quite a bit of fun anyway.

I TRY to queue for WG 8 minutes before it starts, but I am not called to battle then get the waiting thing.  This frays my nerves something fierce just standing around while it’s going on. In defiance I run out there anyway and attempt to kick a paladins ass, but he’s able to heal himself and survive against me until help arrives and I’m outnumbered.  Ah well. I get thrown out of WG on my ass.

I fly out there again, apparently just ignoring the “you’ll be kicked out” message doesn’t help.  On the way, I get into WG from the queue.  We lose, which is the third loss in WG I’ve had today. I’d still come even for losses all the time when it’s  like this, but the giant epic-ness is gone.

What I also don’t understand is how the other side gets vehicles so fast.  I’ve seen them with 5 vehicles shortly after it starts and I know you can rank up on NPCs and guns, but when you see 5 demos rolling around early on it’s like wait, what?  Do you no longer have to rank to build them?

I then run a WSG but we’re into, why even bother status with the flags when we don’t even get it once.  Still, I get to kill a lot of people, so that’s fun. We lose. I do get the Not so Fast achievement though.

Last one for the night is a queue that says my battle is ready, queues for 30 seconds then says my group has left the queue. Ok, what group and we did?  I was sitting on the edge of WG and Ice crown when I queued a second time, got a battle, then got “unabel to zone while in an encounter is in progress” then was thrown out to Rise of Suffering. I kind of meant to stay on the spot I was on because some nice nodes were spawning there.   On the third try I get into an IoC run. We lose.  I’m done enjoying my pvp for tonight.

Cultists

I log in today and start doing the cult quests in Stormwind, then catch a WG battle.  I use the trick I noticed in other battles to take down guns in a spot where they cannot hit me.  We lose however, which is sad because horde was barely putting up any resistance.

I then finish my quests, and the nice thing about doing them late is there is no one around blocking the activity.

and this, this was just my usual poor timing of a screenshot XD  Apparently if you are still wearing the Cultist gear here it gets automatically removed at this point.

I run my fishing daily and make out like a bandit earning a Sealed Vial of Poison for another easy quest turn in, and a Brilliant Stormjewel plus 7 gold. That quest involved going into the sewers and turning in something for 14 gold 80 silver.  Though it would be funny if there was a chance to drop the poison and kill yourself.  Maybe.

I run my cooking daily and collect my carrots in the forest, cook them up with the Chilled Meats and turn it in for spices and my 9g.

I run WG and end up protecting a tower, taking like 3 minutes just to kill a priest, then killed one catapult before a god damn shaman hops out and destroys me.  There is no point, NONE, in trying to kill one with tenacity unless you have 5 other people.  It’s like killing a tank that can heal while nuking. We win this time however.

Later, since I have nothing else to do, I run some BGs and get Arathi.  We lose though I learn that rogues can sap me even with Ice Barrier up.  That seems wrong, I mean, I though the damage would knock them out of stealth but it doesn’t appear to.  Before and after this I chatter idly in guild wondering if the crabby mage will strike up a conversation but they do not.

I run Isle of Conquest and hang out protecting the Glaive against a few horde and fondly give them a /pat.  I like the glaive vehicles quite a bit. We win that one.

I couldn’t manage to get the weekly on either char this week so I guess I’ll just have to skip it this time.  This char has maxed out JP anyway.  I am seriously considering a name change on this character however, since too many other people have names starting with Silver.

Nerds Rage!

Ran my last HH since it is over tomorrow, then ran WG and picked up my GNERDS Rage achievement before it’s too late.  I had some amazingly healing this run and made sure to look up via Recount who healed me and thanked 3 of them.

I also heard that some Horde were attacking Darnassus and I’m sorry, I can’t tolerate them doing this.  I know a lot of people don’t care but it burns me.  Plus I have ports!  I head over there and discover a troll priest, a blood elf paladin, and an orc warrior.  I get killed twice, needless to say, though I do manage to kill the both of them when they “catch” me shadowing one of the level 80 elite guards.  I sit on their corpses for a while, kill the orc warrior when he shows up again, but get killed again by the priest/pally duo.  They were both in pvp gear like myself so that was just inevitable.  Shadow priests are nasty.  No one else that I could tell was helping out so I went back to Dalaran.  If it were easier for non mages to get there and back we’d probably have more help.
