Azjol Nerub

Ran my Horseman and earned the Hallowed Helm, then ran my daily dungeon, which I guess isn’t exactly daily any more, and got Azjol-Nerub (AN).  This is my favorite mostly due to it being the fastest dungeon to run, but also because the spider voices are pretty cool. I lose the tank just prior to the first boss because I got web wrapped repeatedly and wasn’t broken out of it until I took my fingers off my key binds to type out that I was in fact webbed.

The tanks asked the hunter to glitch Hadronox but he doesn’t know how, and although he Feign Death’d in the hall area, it doesn’t glitch it and we do the fight the normal way.

The last boss is little trouble and at least no one got thrown into the air from the spikes. I need to work on my flight paths (FP) at some point because I noticed I skipped a lot of them, having leveled up to 80 on dungeons and PVP only for the most part.

Masks

Ran Razorscale must die… again, then got my Trick or Treat Achievement by visiting the inn in Dalaran and getting my candy.

I must admit I LOVE Blizzard’s decorations during each event and this is no exception.

people with masks!

The Dalaran Inn

The fountain in Stormwind.

I eat too much candy and get my Out with It! achievement by vomiting it up. I head to Ironforge to get my candy.  I quite like the layout of Ironforge honestly, it looks like something you could defend for real, with its nearly single file narrow corridors through massive thick walls and all.

Me in my pirate costume in front of Ironforge’s outer wall. I then go to Goldshire, home of Alliance who like to duel but not assist in PVP when horde shows up, and meet my orphans.

Seems the Horseman has been here already, and one of the quests is to help put out the fires.

The next time the skies get dark and I see him arrive and set the buildings on fire.

Speaking of, the orphans say tear-jerking things like “if my dad were alive he’d put the fires out”.  Blizzard Awwwwwwww!

Later I run Pit of Saron and try a few BGs with Grid installed.  I’m not sure I like it.  I switch back to Xperl and disable Quartz Casting bars because it isn’t saving the placement or settings every time I log out, and it’s super annoying to have to remember to reset it, especially when it streams across my raid frames when I’m trying to heal. I hope that gets fixed soon.

There was no loot, hey!

As I’m on my priest thanks to SOMEONE wasting my time asking for a transmute, I join group with Maice and run a dungeon and get Gundrak. Now that everyone wants to do all bosses again for Justice Points, we run Eck the Ferocious and I earn the What the Eck? achievement. I miss the daily random dungeon bonus. Running a full clear in Old Kingdom is going to be hell.

I queued up for the Headless Horseman and since the cog is still giving people trouble, we all hover around it not clicking it until the paladin gets back from his crash.

We manage to get it summoned and kill him and I receive my Loot Filled Pumpkin, only I right click it to open it and get a message that “There was no loot” and it vanishes. 🙁  I think it does that since JP isn’t an item it’s just points but still that’s a cruel message to give someone. Kelacie-Alleria hangs around with me while I enter a ticket about that.  I doubt I’ll hear anything in the next few days.

I meant to die like that

Logged in and waited 5 minutes for a random only to have it be Oculus again and locked up straight away.  Had to end task out then got CoS.  That was ok but the hunter went “afk” just before we entered the inn and just stayed that way until the last boss, which he also missed because he was so far behind in the instance.  I thanked him sarcastically after the loot rolled especially since he won at least one item he had no hand in earning. Jerk.

I then got picked up in an ICC 10 raid. I had to reload my Deadly Boss Mods (DBM) and Healbot, and reconfigure my stupid Quartz casting bar once again.  We wiped several times just on Gunship, though I had a bit of fun since I was asked to go to the other boat to heal the warrior on a failed glitch attempt.

I was mid-dying right there, but it looks sort of funny huh?  We ended up having to do that on regular, which is failsauce.

I also am not sure what my shields absorbed before but it’s clearly less now.  That or my xperl isn’t working right.  I put on a shield and it’s ripped down almost the same instant.  Not liking that.  We get down Rotface and I win Choker of Filthy Diamonds, to replace a DPS necklace I was still wearing.

I put up Power Word Barrier (PW B) in the bug room just before Professor Putricide and it gets torn down almost instantly. I sure hope that gets tweaked.

With no vent, we wipe quickly on Putricide. However on the second try we get him down and 6 people get the achievement, so that explains some of our trouble. I had previously given notice that I had to go after this one, and they call it a night.  All in all getting that far with no vent is still pretty good.

Ooh Lprime and Arashikage takes me places

It appears that items you can use (when the gears show up) bug out the game currently. Someone put down a Great Feast in EotS and soon as I clicked on it the game froze up.  The same thing happened when I merely mouse-overed a flag in WSG.  I queued up for a dungeon and the lack of tanks is being felt when I had to wait 6 minutes for a group.  Normally on a healer it’s more or less instant.  We get Oculus and before I can move I hit something with the “gears” again and lock up solid.  I bomb out and try to get back in and a patch starts loading, and by the time I get back to my dungeon I’ve been kicked out and have the deserter debuff. Sigh.

I queue up again and this time get Halls of Stone.  I don’t have a chance to take too many pictures because the damage being done is high, and I finally notice half way through the run that Lprime is the tank.

Lprime, a paladin,  use to be in a hard core guild called Obsolete, the elite kind of guild that has done all the content in 10 man, 25 man, both normal and heroics and then sold Lich King kills for huge amounts of gold.  He’s a bit of a trade chat whore as I understand too.  I ran with him on Ruby Sanctum 10 man once when he was healing.  The whole run goes well other than Lprime using the rocket booster to run way ahead of everyone but I manage to catch up in time.

After that I went with Arashikage to Blackrock Depths (BRD) then to Molten Core (MC) which is an old time raid.  It reminds me a bit of Forge of the Gods in Lineage 2.

The only boss that gets us is this one, since I went shadow spec.  I went back to disc healing and it went fine.

These guys I recognize from old Dark Legacy comics. (DLC Vocab)

Then the final boss, who I find quite impressive to look at!

and this weapon I absolutely remember from this comic! (DLC Ninja Loot)

I pick up a few items that I am told were Tier 2, and I get the Molten Core achievement.  Woo!
