I dislike Stonecore

Did all the quests in Tol Barad today and got the 100 quests in Tol Barad achievement.  And I must say, they need to do something about that shark, Tank, when doing the quest for the rum barrels.  He killed me twice, and there wasn’t really anything I could do about it, since he swims directly in the area where all the barrels spawn.

I get in a Heroic Stonecore, and we die, and die, and die.  Oh and we die.  The paladin and I took out Slabhide alone, at the end, though. The paladin didn’t know the last two fights, so that was fantastic.

However after about 3 more wipes on Ozruk, the tank said he was lagging and presumably relogged, and the group kicked him with a quickness. I crack a joke about that, since skeletons all over the ground just cry failure.

We got a druid tank who does well, but most of us die on the boss and I give up. I do buy my new shoulders, gem and enchant them and log off.  Sort of sadfaced Jan wasn’t around to arena, since I would have rather done that.

Time Zones

Spent some time NOT getting into Tol Barad farming Jasmine while waiting for the raid.  We got Magmaw down again after 3 tries, and the mage weapon dropped again and a tank piece, I think it was. It was not-cloth at any rate.  The weapon was accidently DE’d, much to Lladins chagrin I am sure. I had this happen at Onyxia one too, like a year ago, they “forgot” they had a mage with them and DE’d that Netherwind Crown, but the GMs did restore it.

I tank healed this again, but it doesn’t feel very tankish when I have aoe heals going off too.

Next is some Omnitrom Defense System thing, all ‘council’ like and stuff. Blizzard, seriously, jazz up the golem models a little bit.

Anyway like the first boss we wipe repeatedly but make progress each time, and at the last attempt we get it to around 30%, I believe.  I seem to be the only one that has to leave, at midnight, but yeah, I have to be up at 6 am.

Herb Gathering

Spent most of today herbing. It looks like they fixed Deepholm and Twilight Highlands a bit, because I was able to collect 3 stacks of Twilight Jasmine and Heartblossom, where previously getting 12 each was hours and hours of work. I am going to wait until the reduce the amount of herbs needed before making any more flasks, however.

I also used up, or sold my old Wrath herbs, and transfered herbs I get too many of, like Cinderbloom and Stormvine, to my old herb bag. I suppose I could just sell them, but I’m going to focus on providing raid flasks so I’m going to save everything.

Quest fixed

Yesterday I heard the problem quest was fixed, and it was, and I completed it today, yay!

I half assed mined while fishing and farming for Volatiles to make my cloth, then created a pair of epic pants for my mage. I may not be raiding right away but I like questing on this character more than on the priest, who I like raiding on more.

Started my Barad dailies and ran into Stout and finished them together. I die a lot less, when I’m with someone. Those mobs can be really hard.

Later I get in a mostly guild run of Vortex and get a new heroic necklace, and pants. Woo! I went with Aster, Darth, Linden.

I get in a win of Tol Barad, then I run battlegrounds with Pauldie on his warlock, Nilv, Jan, and Lladin. We also form a 5v5 team and do a few matches until it gets too late.

A few of the matches were against a frost mage, and FOUR shaman, with only 2 people playing live. How that is even allowed, to have 1 person clearly botting 3 other accounts, is beyond me. Apparently it’s ok. It really pissed me off to even see that though.
