Kissing rogues is probably a bad idea

Ran TB and won it, and I didn’t die the entire battle, and killed many horde.  The next two battles I didn’t get in at all though.

I went back to herbing in Twilight Highlands, after deciding to stick to only making a few flasks and selling the other herbs for income.   I need my transmute living elements for cloth for my mage, and farming enough herbs to make all flasks nets me no money at all for raid repairs and such.  I am going to focus on making the spirit and int flasks and sell the others.

Speaking of flask making, I made 5 Flowing Water and 5 draconic mind and not a single one proc’d.  UGH.  The Steelskin ones proc a few times though.

I catch a TB battle with Nilvana later in the afternoon, and on my way to defend a tower I run into a rogue named [url=http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/whisperwind/lad%C3%AEesman/advanced]Ladîesman[/url], yes with the character like that.  I’ve seen him many times in WG too. For some reason the alliance that were there all ran off and I was left to deal with the blood elf rogue myself, and I killed him and blew a kiss at the bones.  At 20% health I go to run off but he’s back already, saps me and kills me. Bleh.

Later I run into him again at Slagworks

and he shakes off dying at least twice by doing whatever rogue trickery they do to throw off my dots and vanish.  But, apparently I’ve made a fan.

We successfully defend, and it was quite a fun battle.

Later we run Baradin’s Hold and get it in the first try, unlike that other night where things went so bad.  A very nice pvp trinket drops, and Leonz says he’ll give it to me if he wins, which he does, and he gives it to me.  So of course this means free strength flasks, which fortunately come from herbs that I have an easier time finding than others.  I also make him an Embersilk bag on my mage and mail it off.

Since the raid tonight did not go down, we form up with Maice, me, Seanjohn, Darth, Stout and run a heroic, and get Deadmines.  That goes fine, though nothing dropped I could use.  I really need to do these daily as I am still only at around 770 valor points.

5 man Dungeons use to be Hard

Today I try again for Throne of the Tides on heroic, and we wipe on trash, wipe on the first boss. This time I did not die last, so it didn’t bug. Then we wipe again. And again. The problem seems to be the dps, with the warlock at 9k, and the DK at 6k, and the mage at 5. The tank gives them a talking to at that point. The DK gets a smart mouth about standing in the spouts too. We wipe again. 43g in repairs. The next time we get it though the DK did die. We get down the next boss, but I lose track of the amounts of times I die in this dungeon. We kicked the DK for “terrible dps”, plus the bad attitude. We do get it finished though nothing I need dropped.

I go and take a look at the valor point priest stuff, and ugly, ugly. Can’t I just keep my blues? Way prettier. I have 2000 honor I have nothing else to do with also so I pick up my shoulders, even though I don’t need a 5 piece set.

After that annoying dungeon I run IoC and we win, then Battle of Gilneas. At one point I saw someone pick up our flag, and without running across the room out to the doorway. Anyway we lose that one. We lose TB too, with people screaming in frustration in raid about how bad alliance is. I really don’t think some people understand just how hard it is to win, at prime time though.

At night I run a 3v3 with Pauldie on his warlock and Janusz, and me on shadow. The rights go pretty fast, overall. I’m not looking to do anything but the minimum right now since I’m still mostly geared for healing. I get the World Wide Winner achievement.

Today I wanted to run a quick heroic Throne of Tides, but I died last on the first boss, went into spirit of redemption mode and died.  on the way back in to her, the way was blocked by bars that would not open.  We could not reset the instance, and going out and back in did not work.  So basically 20 mins wasted for nothing.

I dropped the group and tried to get out, and it repeatedly said “Transfer aborted, instance not found” then said I would be sent to the nearest graveyard, only kept getting looped into the same instance over and over.  Then it lagged on the loading screen for like 3 minutes then logged me out.  Then it went to, world server down on my priest, mage  etc.

Later we do Throne of the Four Winds and get the three bosses down, the Conclave of Wind. Yay! A mail and plate piece drops. Bleh. And this boss, is FING HUGE.

I always get Rohash

Today I did half of the Tol Barad dailies and got Exalted with Baradin Wardens.  I picked up the Mandala of Strirring Patterns epic, rather than buying the dragon, since my trinkets were still from normal dungeons.

At night we head to do Throne of the Four Winds.

I get to stay on Rohash which I like because I won’t need to move.  This one is harder than it sounds just because it has a wind blast, which throws you off the platform and I only survived it once, the other times I spun around taking damage until I died, another time I was thrown again a building and took falling damage and died.  And depending on when and where the boss starts the blast, even if you see him starting to cast it, and move before he casts it, it can still catch you and blast you off the platform.

We do well on it and almost get it, but there are serious server problems and the world server went down twice during the raid, Leonz went offline and didn’t come back, then Nilvana lost power and couldn’t come back, so we called it. We formed up for a heroic then like 5 people dropped because of world server.

So we formed up for the Baradin Hold raid but because of tank issues, I guess it was, we wiped 3 times then gave up because it was too close to battle.  Recount showed the other healer doing as much as me, but visually I felt like I was solo healing, watching the health bars.  That and I dropped to 50% mp in like 30 seconds trying to keep people up.

The TB battle begins and I do not get in, and I run a EotS with Jan. Afterwards we try the TB boss again. We wipe four times then I give up.  The magic dot has to be dispelled the SECOND it comes out or people drop, and the healing is difficult to keep up with. But.. it’s just way too late.  I leave without getting it.

Pus Ball of Snot Boogers

Did some herb farming today, ran all my Tol Barad quests, and at least one battle, and I think by tomorrow I should be exalted with Baradin Hold.  I need like 30 more badges to get that drake though.  I was going to get the trinket first, but it’ll be easier to get up to like 125 badges then start over again up to 200.  Plus I’m tired of the bronze drake.

I was going to hold out until the patch to make flasks but I caved and used my entire bag of herbs and then some and made about twenty.  People that do things for me get them for free, friends that do not reciprocate get a discount. A girl has to be pay her raid costs some how!

It took like an hour and a half but we got the golem bosses down. I win the epic ring, Security Measure Alpha. I like that name! Sure beats “Pus Ball of Snot Boogers” like from ICC.

Oh and we hit guild level 10 during this as well!

I wouldn’t decorate my place in dead dragons, personally.

but despite the fight being called a tank and spank, it’s not quite that easy and we don’t get it.  But it’s late and we call it after a few tries.
