Bugged out Turret

Fished out in TB today to get enough raid food together, and ran into Acks, did some friendly insulting back and forth and such.  Also ran into an Arenamaster warrior, named something like Jonnyboy when getting into fights with Ladiesman.  I got a spriest killed by tempting them to come too close to the guards, who now have a more reasonable aggro range too.  My mage now has 5/5 vicious cloth pieces, weapon, off hand, wand, and will keep working on the rest of the items.  I am not that good as a frost mage really, maybe I’m set up wrong or something, because I don’t feel my damage output is really there.  I like my fire spec though, and I doubt I’ll go back to arcane if I ever raid.

During on of my WG runs, a persistent rogue kept breaking up my sieges, but at one point the turrent fell on the ground and I was still able to get into it and fire.

I was also the only person in the raid group, and for some reason, while I was running around looking for horde npcs to kill, I was removed from raid, for what reason I don’t even know, though I got to stay in the area.  Alexmx came with and was in his own separate raid too.  We didn’t take it this time.

Today I randomly made a new friend, while hanging out in TB at Slag.  Acks (warrior), who was turned into a BE, started dancing with me out of boredom, I returned the favor, they commented that my gear was nice, etc.

Bunch of horde ran in, we held off for a while, started talking back and forth about pvp and such, apparently they have played since classic, had a paladin, has raided, likes to pvp and arena, etc.  They dropped out of their level 3 guild, Exalted with Repairbots, and I invited them since I got a good vibe.  We talked a good part of the rest of the day, including running a few BGs, TB dailies, and WG together.

Ran a few arena with Peejay today also, and came short by about 50 points for my ring, since it was around 5 and he had to go, and so did I.  The teams we had were quite hard as well.  I’m seeing a lot of fire mages in arena lately too.  Mages don’t cause too much trouble for me but the stun dragons breath does, is quite annoying.  Plus polymorph landing over and over with no chance to get out of it that many times is meh.  But, we did pretty good.

We did BWD the other night with almost all guild, but it feels like we’re back to when we first started raiding. Multiple wipes per boss, and only got Magmaw, Omnotron, and Maloriak down. I’m tearing through food like crazy again, 1 stack is back to lasting me one night. Maloriak once again did not drop my trinket.

Peejay offered me a Nef kill, which I jokingly replied and said “sure drop it in the mail”. He said he was serious and they were working on that kill right then. Sigh.

Reforging another 3.5% haste seemed to make no difference in my casting speed though, so I may have to look at my enchants.

Ran BH 25 today headed up by Nish, and first, this was so lol worthy I pm’d Fixate and told them I was in love.

I rolled on the t11 legs and my roll luck is holding out with a ONE.

I rolled a 20 on the pvp pants, and only won that because the other mages were holding out on the firelord gloves.  But it saved me 2200 conquest points.

I don’t like Arcane any more

Ran a heroic the other day as fire, and I quite like it. I’m still in honor and conquest pvp pieces, some 333 items, and a few epics, but I can do about 10k dps on the BH boss or dungeons. I really have no desire to go back to arcane, even though I did it from 1-80, just because it lacks any creative spells.
