Dear arcane, really? Signed me.

Ran a regular heroic today with some guildies, unfortunately all dps. I don’t think I’ve had a run with a guild tank since Acks ran me through something. Or Maice. DPS are always ready to go, but tanks, healers, not so much. Sigh. Anyway embarrassingly got the achievement for Vortex today since I had never done it on the mage. Also got in my TB win, and since I’m missing Rinni, spent A LOT OF TIME dying over and over at Slags charging after the horde. There was one feral druid who kept saying things to me which I wish I could translate.

During one of the battles, when it was clear we were losing I left about 30 seconds before the fail, was in the middle of typing to Ladiesman “nah nah I’m on the bridge” (our original meeting spot before we ever started talking) when he sapped me, on the bridge XD Sneaky devil! Had numerous fights just outside the bridge as well, but the horde advantage of being so much closer to said bridge is… well just unfair. Once horde are off the bridge, any ranged class, mages, warlocks, hunters, etc, are almost guaranteed to pull their guards since they only have to run about 5 yards to get to their camp. Pet classes have to be especially careful. I appreciate the guards being there but they kind of screw up after battle pvp when you get one up your ass when trying to kill fleeing horde. I mean, maybe an archway that just unflags you at the entrance to both camps would be a better idea. Then if you want to puss out on your flag status you can.

Ran with an all dps group (sigh) and got Deadmines a few days ago.

It went well, but I am HIGHLY disappointed that every time I, was well as other dps in the guild, want to run a random, tanks and healers never come with. And if I do heal on my priests, the group is all dps and no tanks. What gives? I think we’re very low on both classes.

Ugh raiding sometimes

We did not run yesterday, despite starting later, we were still short 2 dps and a healer. At least it was called before we sat around forever.

And this was from my shaman, someone flying upside down around town, just thought it was a little funny.

Last night we started late, because it was scheduled at 8:45, and didn’t pull until around 9:15. Since we end at 11, this seems to late for me, but whatever. Because of this we tried heroic Maloriak twice, then did it on normal, then tried Heroic Atramedes twice, then the pug paladin (Ladegaga) logged and we called it around 11.

Maloriak dropped the Jar of Ancient Remedies which is the first time I’ve seen it, and I’m still crabby about needing to use a roll system, with pugs in the group. Not seeing an item for like 5 months and maybe losing it to a pug, is dumb. They said it’s not that good but I wanted to try it over my Mandala of Stirring Patterns. I should get a DMC Tsunami but, well, maybe later.

My earlier crabbiness about raids is mostly tied to the premise that, I don’t want my game time wasted. If we’re not doing Cho’gall, Alakir, Nefarion, and not trying heroics, I don’t want to raid any more. I’ve done normals for months, I don’t want to do them any more. And taking an hour or more to form up, where I am forced to sit in raid, and not do dailies, is just wasting my free time. But I’ve decided if the RL won’t call it, I’ll just call it for myself. If we aren’t pulling by 30 mins after the starting time, I’m gonna log and do something else.

We never have TB, EVER.

Soulprince already left guild, sometime this morning. Problem solved I guess. He made some mention of doing raids in pvp gear to which I said that would not work, then a little later he said “hey guys i don’t see myself fittin into this guild ima leave gl tho” and left. I pm’d him, not really caring why but still semi curious and he said something similar again. I found out he was around the age I had guessed too.

Prior to raiding SJ said we’d need 3 dps and 1 healer. I said I will not raid under those circumstances and Nilvana said the same. So it’s not looking good. I’ll take up to 2 pugs, any more and I won’t go. It’s not worth it.
