Finally got in a BH group, but it was massively fail and we wiped on trash, and the boss twice, then it fell apart. The dps was very bad, with me around 22k, the next at 14k, then 10, 19, 6, 5, etc. So yeah.
Joined up to a second one and we wiped twice because they “thought” you could one tank it. Holy shit, seriously? and the boss was facing the raid like the entire time. But after 3 wipes we got it. Mail and mail dropped. Ugh.
Last night we got down Alysrazor, even though that fight has like 4 phases, it was kind of fun. Then we tried Baleroc.
This has been labeled a “healing fight” but I ran into some real problems. The way we were doing it was, to swap healing when the healer in a predetermined order, lost some flame buff, then they would stop tank healing and heal the people with the shadow crystal debuff. But my problem was, I could not SEE when the healer ahead of me, lost their debuff. And neither healer was talking in vent, so between pulls I was hastily trying to set up my interface to focus on the healer before me, setting up power auras, etc. At the end it seemed to just be a healing free for all which mostly worked ok, but then the paladin healer, Andrac, kept getting the buff that reduces healing by 50%, and was trying to melee the boss to get mp back, so it just went badly from there.
But I’m sure we’ll get it next week. After that I ran 2 dungeons and in SFK I got “finally a good healer” XD The non Z dungeons seem to suffer from that a lot I’ve noticed, I get in a lot of dungeons that are half done quite a bit, but I like it.

then saw a rogue named Karmarouge spamming for a 2’s group, so after a while said I’d run with them. We did 3 wins in a row which capped him after 1 win, then we did a few more to try to get me capped. Unfortunately all 4 attempts after that were losses, including one fight that he dropped out of at 30 minutes because we got the rogue (with a holy pally) down to 500 hp and even throwing my dots on him, he some how survived and I was completely OOM and out of all CDs. I survived about 60 seconds after he left but we lost. The other lost fights were against 2 frost mages, and every single team had 2 stealths besides the pally one. But it the fights were really close and I am ok with that. The rogue seemed to be quite good also. I must have mana burned that damn paladin at least 10 times and tried to chain fears and mc’s but no luck. Ah well.
Then did some rbgs with that rogue and Pomstars group again, and got my cap, got the Private title and 1,100 rbg rating which gave me another achievement, called In Service of the Alliance. That seemed to prompt Mauker in guild, who is running guild rbgs, to ask if I wanted to join their group on thursdays, to which I said yes and went and posted on the forum about it. Ran into Zukk during a AB that we won too.
Tonight was a raid and, I really, really played like crap at Shannox. I ended up in at least 2 fire traps and got stuck in crystal 3x between 2 fights. I was avidly looking for it the entire time but for some reason didn’t see them, and got stuck. I was not happy with myself. Ended up winning the Goblet of Anger though, an extremely nice offhand.
We got down Rhyolith after, 3 tries I think, then nearly got down that fire lady, got her down to about 10%. I’m sure we’ll get it tomorrow. What I don’t like about that fight though, is that the tank healers get to mostly stay in one spot and heal, and I have to bounce across the field and all the fire to heal ranged on either side. Would be nice if they were in the middle if possible but eh.
Did two WG’s today, one with Rayslayz in the group, who told me not to heal this one hunter because they were bad. But he was rude and pushy as per usual. We nearly took the fort but I could not MC and fear enough to keep a priest and shaman off his vehicle.
The second time we were COMPLETELY pinned down by a mage named Lolfrostbolt and that brutal DK Bitternbern. If your partners are under leveled, and under geared, 1-2 good geared players can wipe out even 5 bad ones, and your vehicles absolutely don’t stand a chance.
Ran a TB today and we won. And.. I swear Ladiesman has cloned himself or something. I had a rogue named Darkëst (blood elf) keeping me on lock down and vanishing like he does at slags, then after the battle another BE rogue named Entergy was messing with me just outside the center area, vanishing, sapping me and then just doing nothing, somehow totally avoiding my aoe’s then sapping me instantly after. I was amused by this and played along, not trying to damage them and just rotated my cd’s to survive, wasn’t that hard, feared them, MC’d a bit, etc. I like playing with rogues! XD
After that I wanted to try to pound out my CP for the week so a little reluctantly picked up another group with Pomstar. The last time I ran with them, we got 2000 to 0 capped in Gilneas. But I don’t feel like doing much else. We stood around for some 30 mins trying to put together a group.
