Loot council

Logged in and got picked up for a VoW raid of Ragnaros, one shotted that. They do loot council which means pugs have no chance at gear basically. But they said that at the start so fairs fair.

After that got in a BoT with Mylittlepwnie/Turnizzle and lost a dps after Halfus, then lost another dps at the dragons. Wiped once at council, then got that and Cho’gall down. My trinket did not drop.

I was asked by someone earlier in the day to help raid lead Firelands if we get another group going but I’m not sure how helpful I would be. When I heal I don’t pay attention to the things a boss is doing that everyone needs to know, at least not enough to call it out in advance, I’m aware it’s happening but checking timers and watching health bars would be poor for everyone’s health XD

Arcane is boring but OP

Won Firehawk pants in BH today and felt inspired to gear my mage again. Apparently I did next to no Hyjal quests so was banging away at those today. Also decided to cave and take an arcane pve spec. Again.

Ran a dungeon and picked up a 353 helm, which was a slight downgrade from the 359 I had, but it didn’t have spirit <.< So yeah. I don’t really care for the mp management of arcane though.

Got picked up by Nangz for heroic ICC 25m on Sindragosa and LK.

We got both down though I was dead most of LK since no one saved me from the Valks.  I won Archus, Greatstaff of  Andonidus though which I will use for transmorg’ing when it happens. Also sporting the Light of Dawn title.

Bakstabz and Ladiesman came to SW the other day and spent a good amount of time killing the npcs, and trying to kill me, since I went to go find them.  We ended up in the tram and the way he fell was weird so I took a picture since after all, he rarely dies.

I also got in a BoT raid and it’s even more frustrating now to think about the good team I don’t have any more.  We had to wait for some dumb healer to finish questing before we got going.  Sorry but, you are making 9 people wait on you, quest some other time.  We wiped on trash once when absolutely no one was doing any form of CC, and people died multiple times at the start again by not ccing or getting out of the way.  I started copping an attitude during this.  For example at the START we had 2 people die.  They should have released and ran back in, but instead laid there dead the entire time waiting on a rez.

We got down Halfus then the dragons, but on council not only did no one interrupt the Hydro Lance, but no one switched to the flame guy and he got off at least 4 bursts which killed nearly everyone.  I commented that someone needs to interrupt the Lance and the mage said they were doing it but was “dead by then”.  I said well the lance landed every single time it was cast, which meant not a single person interupted it once, and they were not dead the ENTIRE TIME.

When we ran back in the shaman healer left, then a bunch of people went afk.  20 minutes after that we got a healer but then two dps dropped.  I ended up saying I was sorry but this was taking far too long and I could not wait on 2 more dps.  And I have to admit I am overly harsh, I guess you could say, to people playing mages.

Was demoted today from Raider – Zealot to just Member. Since I didn’t choose to stop raiding I found this a little insulting.

Joined a group for BWD with mostly Relentless. I forgot what a pain pugs are, the whole thing went quite slow. I forgot BoT/BWD only gives 35 VP per boss so it really wasn’t worth the time invested. I stopped before Nef though because by then it was nearly midnight.
