Got a Cho’gall kill today with a group run by RS, but lost Fall of Mort to a paladin I didn’t even know we brought for healing. Sigh.
Watching people form raids gets kind of depressing. Everyone is LF healer, all the time, or tanks or course. What if we want to dps? Sometimes I want to let someone else worry about healing.
Spent some time killing horde at the wickerman again.
Though I sort of have griefer standards a bit, if it’s a level 32 or something I just leave them alone. But I get a kick out of mowing down 3-4 horde then having them come back and all float around targeting me.
Capped VP and I have my Firehawk Gloves now, and would like to get into a firelands raid sometime soonish.
Ran a fail BoT with Maice today, half the people had never even been in the instance, and at the start I was the ONLY HEALER. Then the other priest went atonement healing and we wiped on Halfus, then barely got him down the second time. At the dragons half the raid died almost instantly and I just logged after that.
Had, all kinds of fun today!
First I went to see if I could kill a horde flight master (level 85 elite with 2 enraged flight critters). And yes, I can. I killed this guy, before and after shots.
When I have time I’ll try it at other towns.
Ok, and the unfairness towards horde really bugs me sometime. To get to their straw man to douse it, you have to fly over Undercity which flags you before you even get there. They on the other hand, get to come outside of the city, NOT flag UNTIL they douse it. I mean, what the fuck is that? I even clapped for a mage that settled down next to me safely NOT FLAGGED, cast a portal, doused it all while not flagged, got flagged, and took the portal back to the town. That was a good idea, but again, what the fuck.
Anyway I camped our area and killed many horde.

and the best part was stealing this guys wings then beating him to death with it.
yes, I realize I had a hunter with me, but he was 84 in almost all greens, 293 ilevel. So shush.
The Z dungeon pain continues again today and I’m starting to see why I’m having more of a problem on dps rather than on heals. When I’m healing, I eliminate the possibility of there being a bad healer, because I’m doing the healing.
For example last time we had a paladin healer who just… wasn’t healing. I hit 30% on a pack of trash and counted to 30, not a single heal. The trash was killed and still I stood there at 30%. The next trash was marked with moon for Sheep and they had enough time to say “sheep it” then “can’t you sheep it” and for me to reply “maybe if I get a heal’ because my hp was no longer, at 30% ish. This same healer wiped us repeatedly at the panther boss, while I watched their mp bar move not a bit during most of the fight, before we all died, anyway. They claimed they were casting heals but nothing was going out.
Then later, the DK and I duo’d this guy from around 50% health to dead.
I’m really liking the mage again. Evo healing the damage, ice blocking damage that would have killed me, blinking or invizing out of trouble, fun!
Our healer, a disc priest, was in full pvp gear though, but still did ok. I know you lose a large amount of some off stat in pvp gear but the priest stuff has int, spirit so it’s not, TOO awful. You just..
