Fail Firelands

Tried to do Rag last night with Ralidens Family Crypt people but we failed at the first hammer pretty much for 2 hours. I wasn’t terribly concerned about lack of progress and basically spent the time talking with Ladiesman. BUT. We had three healers but I was having difficulties keeping my mp up, having to resort to flash heals quite a bit to hit people that were low and not being brought up very quickly, while also putting out about 50% of the heals on the tanks. I’m also very use to hearing whoever is popping the traps to call it out before it hits, and neither mage was doing that, and they were sometimes popped when people were low on health and once even brought the tank down to 10% with a trap hit.

We survived the hammer once I think, but died shortly after when most people were not in place for seeds or grouping for the big hammer. Oh well, was something to do I guess. Next patch soon!

We Just Lost parties

Alliance has been mostly completely terrible at TB lately. Try to make the best of it I guess and have “we just lost” parties at the bridge.

When the Ruthless gear is available for honor I wonder if anyone that is good will start coming back. I’ve been logging onto Tichondrius more too on my shaman, and made friends with a rogue named Ronokay who insisted we try arena a few times.  We won 1, but as I told him, my keybinds aren’t all set up, and I’m not comfortable or practiced with pvp on that char.

I haven’t been able to get in a winning tb battle on that server, hardly ever.  Whenever I queue for it I almost never get in.  I’m still on the fence as to whether or not I want to move any characters over there.  It’s just hard to test playing a character I’ve not spent much time on. I think I may drop my ele spec for a pve resto though since there’s no way I’ll be able to gear pvp and pve dps and healing specs.

Anyway, random bgs have been a lot better lately.

No Turkey for U

Did a BH the other day and did a winning roll but had the same numbers as someone else. Rolled again and we both rolled a 17.  Rolled again, I lost.  Cursing to myself and kicking my chair, BUT! Then the shaman just let me have the item, which was a pvp ring. Zentrino was the shaman.

Finished all my thanksgiving achievements on this character and got my pet turkey and the “Elleria the Pilgrim” title.  Ladiesman refused to let me turkey him though, so Acks logged in the horde I needed to get it.

There has still not been a mage boot pattern for 378 ilevel for going on like 2 months now.  It’s quite annoying, and my Living Embers are worth like 500g now.  Quite frustrating since I broke down and just bought the boots and was hoping to get a little money back with the embers but I guess not. And of course days after I watched the market for the boots for like a month, and paid 17k, I see them now for 15k.  Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh. Well, time to start farming all day and building up more money for the next expansion I guess.

Did a trash run today even though I don’t get rep. I just find it curious that the second people get what they need rep-wise they are just like “done boom I’m out” and leave the raid, even if other people mentioned prior they were very close to hitting whatever mark they needed by like, 200 points. Just seems rude.

Pretend it’s PVE

Saw a mage doing nothing but spamming arcane explosion, as a frost mage, in TP today. When I called them bad they said to lay off because they were new to pvp. Ok so that means you play stupid as hell? I mean at least pretend you are on a mob, at LEAST.
