Had some epic bgs lately, got “Newbs to Plowshares” on my shaman during a Gilneas battle where we 3 capped, and kept 8/10 of their team off the LH flag the ENTIRE TIME. People knew how to aoe the flag, it was beautiful.

Also on my priest got “Jugger Not” after being down about 1200 points also in Gilneas, and came back to win it. I professed undying love to a rogue who solo capped WW to get us that win. I do find that I do the majority of the calling out in battlegrounds lately though. I use BG defender which saves typing time but that doesn’t work when I’m not at the base in question. I make frequent use of Mind Vision to latch onto people on my team to check out the other bases, then call out how many are there. A lot of people will yell “LH LH LH LH” and I mind vision only to see it’s 2 inc and we have 4 there. You should not need to call that out. Numbers are important to know. 2 defending and 5 inc, yes call that out, 1 inc vs 5 defending, don’t bother.

Doing Resto damage wrong?

Did arena on my shaman with Joed today and went 8-4. I feel the lack of offensive damage abilities on the shaman, or maybe I’m just doing it wrong. LB and lava burst all seem too slow and too low of damage to bother with. Picked up the new pvp helm though.

We tried heroic Shannox tonight and on the first shot got him to 100k (no joke) but failed badly every attempt afterwards. I don’t think anyone really understood the mechanics, and the first pull I was mid way through asking how the healing arrangements would go when they pulled. I kept saying we should have one healer on the off tank which ended up being me, one on the tank, and one that mostly focuses on the rage-ing damage but I swear the other 2 healers never talk.

We called it without getting anything down.

Switched to my priest and did a random bg and ran into Cirruk (Kurric), who I met on his rogue in a random some time ago in Vortex Pinnacle, who is on my real id. Didn’t even notice we were in the same bg together until he called me by my real name and said he’d save me, from the rogue that was on me. What are the chances? Of course last time I said something like that, I ended up in a bg with Ladiesman. We won that one, queue for another and got EotS, and lost but it went pretty well.

I give gifts on boss kills (sometimes)

On Thursday we got Blackhorn down in normal DS, even though I believe Rayzo was the last one standing.  Since I couldn’t buy him lunch like I did for Maice the few times he solo’d a boss, I cut him 3 inferno rubies instead to celebrate.

We tried spine but we were all over the place and it didn’t work out. I wish we would do 2 nights of DS instead of FL. I mean other than doing it to get ONE person a staff, there is nothing in FL that would be an upgrade so why bother with an entire night?

Today I left A9N on my mage, who I put in Relentless with my shaman, and my priest who is as of current, untagged.  I had to keep declining raids anyway; I can’t raid Tuesdays and 7pm is too early for me.  We weren’t doing Rbgs any more either so I figured I may as well just join and focus on the guild I’m raiding with, again! I was in Relentless at the start of this little log and it was the first guild I’ve ever been in.

Ran LFR with A9n on Friday and won the Ring of the Riven but nothing else. Was a slight upgrade to my 378 plus the gem socket.

Suck it Dude

Yellowducky kicked Frostrated/Restosham yesterday morning. I am rather glad he was kicked while online, and not allowed to be such an ass and then leave on his own accord.  Afterwards he sent me a bunch of messages asking me to tell Yellow to “f himself’, saying he was going to go back to Burning Legion because everyone on this server/guild thinks they are better than they are, threw fits about Beezle thinking he was any good, and apparently had other beefs about other members of the guild thinking they were any good.

Later on I switched to my priest and we had this little convo which made me smile.

then he went on to say “I just need a healer”, said he actually had me unblocked (like I care) and said someone named Monkeyfeet was helping him to get the drake.  Hi.  Here’s me not caring, k thx bai.

Later that night on my shaman we did a full clear of FL and finally got this guild a Rag kill.
