Blood Elf Priest

So yeah I made a blood elf priest who is 81 as of today, disc spec and herb/alchemy just like my Alliance priest. Nothing really to note thus far, dungeon groups have been pretty good, pvp not too bad. I went from the guild Angelus invited me to over 9 months ago to Whisperwind Eleven, as “Friends and Family” sponsored, I guess you could say, by Fratricide.  He was the blood elf paladin who got Ladiesman’s 7k bounty by killing me.  I discussed that in my Alliance threads.

Anyway the people in that guild I like, Ribby is the horde goblin priest who was annoying in TB like me, Missnewbooty, etc, have all been nice and talkative.

Then the other day I was randomly standing around in Org channeling the “Game of Thrones” thing with my name, my “Flame Keeper” title, my little red protodrake when a hunter named Sealgaer who I mentioned way back in Oct 2011[/url] asked if it was after GoT and I said yes.  We talked for a bit and he commented “I wish I had a Dothrakki warrior now”. lol

He and a paladin named Holystab ran me through BRC twice and I picked up some new gear.

Those two were giving a heavy vibe that they were gay, or something, I dunno.  Lots of “he does whatever I say” from the pally to the hunter and that kind of thing.  ERP maybe.

Anyway the next day I said hi again to Seal and got invited to a party with the pally but on his rogue and we did BRC again.  I don’t know how it came up but I mentioned my Alliance priests name and the hunter remembered the incident where I almost killed him in TB.  He remembered I had signed onto Elliebelly to say “GG” or something like that.  I was like wow that was a long time ago!  I’m glad I write these names down to remember these things.

So I have 2 more battletag friends between the two of them now.

So I gave up holy already until I have the spirit gear and gems to support it, and took a disc pvp spec. We can has mobility now! You can take speedy bubble on any spec, you can glyph faster speed with levitate! Mobility! Yay!

Spectral Guise seems awesome too, I took that instead of Desp prayer for right now.

On a side note, Annibelle sometimes seems like an unnecessary douche. We did the Whale Shark the other day and he wanted to do that giant serpent. As I’m a healer and I’m generally healing people, I trailed him giving speedy bubbles and trying to help dps. I got “I don’t need shields” in vent.

“They help speed you up” I said.

“I don’t need it it makes me go out of range” he said.

So, you are requesting no assistance then? That bugged me. I wasn’t KSing, I was healing. Geez.

Then the next day I asked if mages could still spellsteal wings. He wasn’t sure, so I logged on my mage and did a duel and specifically said “I am only going to try to spellsteal”. I started spamming spellsteal and then he kicked my ass and won the duel. I said “or you could kill me”. What the fuck.

So first impressions, I took a holy spec and healed a dungeon fine but mana was a slight problem even with 2 spirit trinkets. I’ve been out of practice for like a year or more too.

Disc, ok, disc seems fine. The Pysfiend appears to do nothing at all though, it just stands there. I originally expected it to just do a scream every few seconds but it needs a target. I’ll have to play with it later. But otherwise just doing 5 mans I was good, we’ll have to see how raids go. PW Solace, I don’t know what everyone was bitching about, it’s hardly difficult at all to throw out now and again.

So, yeah, Seems fine.

Spent last night pvping in my good old disc spec as I lose it today. I mean, the spec is still there, but will be pretty much completely changed. I hit divine hymn and mana burn, as much as possible.

A little behind in my posts.  We did 5/8 heroic and then wiped on Blackhorn over and over, mostly due to dps being on the low side.  That and us being very heavy melee when other sites have recommended nearly all ranged.  We did that and the rest on normal.

On my horde priests side, I ran into Tindoor, a rogue who tries to get me in TB often, but who doesn’t even make me waste any kind of CDs.  We talked a bit and he said he only does it now if his guild asks him to, and says sometimes he griefs Goldshire.

I left Prius Visum on the horde too, since Angelus and Raenaeh haven’t been on in 7 months, and was invited by Fratricide to Whisperwind Eleven.

They kept calling me a “he” and I did not correct anyone.  They seemed cool though.  Ribby, the only priest that really gave me any grief in Tol Barad was in the guild as well and we talked a bit about how people are jerks to healers in pvp.   I even had to fill out a ‘casual’ app to that guild.

Anyway, this is the fun stuff that happens when you lag in sandstone drake form.
