We got the first three bosses down in MV the last two days but wiped a lot on Elegon. The fight is a pain and much much harder than the first three. I almost want to go back to disc for that fight.

On the spiritbinder guy, sigh. I really … yeah. I don’t exactly mind when people suggest alternate ways to do a fight, but it seems Dor likes to suggest things that center on ignoring important mechanics. On Garajal it’s necessary for the healers to take turns going into the totem, both to heal up the dps in there so they can get back out (they can’t unless they are healed up) and to get a massive spirit regen for the healer. You cannot go in if you have the voodoo doll on you though.

My Vuhdo frames show me who has the doll so if I see he has it, I just go to the totem, I don’t need to be told. I don’t know what interface he is using but he suggested that every time a totem is out we both stand in it because whoever is dolled can’t go in anyway. The problem with that though, is the one time it was my turn to go in, he also ran in, and got pulled in. He was pulled in 3x in a row so I was outside the entire time doing all that healing and was nearly OOM at the end. This is why we have to take turns and not just ignored mechanics because someone has a problem with taking turns. I mentioned this at the end too. We had a similar thing happen back on heroic Hagara.

Ran a random and got Scholo after the raid with a full group trying to get Khaotic a better weapon, since he was still using a 450. On the plus side though, Price of Progress dropped and I got it.

In other news Relentless won’t be raiding until the end of the month, and apparently Nytok is going to heal them. Scuba mentioned it so I Pm’d him, a little in surprise. He said he was going to raid with them during the week. Interesting.

Tried LFR on my pally, won a belt and someone gave me dps shoulders later on, but that wasn’t the fun part.

During Fall of Deathwing there was a priest by the name of Healuranus from Stormrage who appeared to be trying to jump off the edge in Ultraxion.  I think I said something about it, not realizing what they were trying to do at the time.  During the boat I made a comment that priests are ‘douches’ which they told me to take back and I refused on the grounds that I have a priest.  And in pvp, I’m quite a bit of a jerk, no lie.  Nothing outside of skill mechanics, but tearing off pally wings, mage ice block, hero, pally bubble, MCIng people off edges, is all somewhat jerky,. but fun and it helps my team win. Anyway.

On Spine they demanded I ‘take it back’ and I said no make me, and they threatened to then throw me off the edge if I did not. I said no and go ahead what do I care.  Being dead and carried is ok with me.  He dragged me off the edge and I died.

Then continued on to threaten the other priest with being thrown off the edge if they didn’t hand over the crown token they won.  They did not so they were tossed over the side, only the priest was able to get back up and dragged Heal down, but he didn’t die either and got back up.  I was rezzed at some point and that priest threatened to throw the tanks to their deaths if I didn’t recant my bit about douche priests. I commented that it was difficult to take back a comment about a priest being a douche when said priest has shown without a doubt that they are an epic douchebag.

So, the tank was dragged to  his death.  We completed that fight anyway, but were unable to kick the guy when he started Madness when no one was ready, and dragged at least 2 other people off the edge before we wiped and kicked.  He was reported by some people and I did one.  It didn’t bother me per se, being carried dead to a kill is fine, but you shouldn’t be allowed to get away with that behavior.

Anyway we went on to wipe on Madness 3x before I gave up.

That priest for the record, had no glyphs, no enchants, was gemmed with green quality cata gems, no belt buckle, and ilevel 380.  I don’t think any random person I armory is ever geared correctly.

Sigh.

Had a really stupid conversation with a bad warrior today in a random. The guy said someone is hacking auto loot. He kept saying it until Nilv and I were like, huh?

He said: someone has auto loot on and is ninjaing items.

Nilv asks who DOESN’T have auto loot on?

Then the warrior msg’d me and said it’s “some kind of addon” Then we had this stupid convo

warrior: it would look all the goodie automatically, (player) have it

me: it’s an option in the default set up tho

warrior: he loot or ninja 2 motes

me: How do you know those weren’t just his drops?

warrior: idc just want to be fair for every1 that needed

me: You can’t roll on those anyway

warrior: oh yes I could

me: you cannot roll on spirit of harmony (I meant motes but same diff)

warrior: yes, i do.. u need thou for level90 gears and living steels

me: well you CANNOT roll on spirits of harmony, you can’t at all, just whoever has it in their loot gets it

warrior: yes, I do needed for [Breastplate of Ancient Steel] for example

me: I know what they are used for

Warrior: c’com i got 9 lvl90 max for prof i know it very weel

me: well you are an idiot if you think those spirits (or motes) as open roll

warrior: u r such a noob

Random rant for the day, people who play A LOT of alts in a rather serious fashion.

It’s nice when you are raiding with the same person and characters all the time for a number of reasons, but one of the perks is, when they win gear, you know they don’t need that piece again. So if it’s say, your glove tier token and they win it, you know the next one is yours (assuming no one else is on the token blah blah). But sometimes when a person has a character fully geared up, they don’t want to raid on that one any more. They want to bring another char of theirs that needs gear, so they are forever bringing something that NEEDS gear. That’s why I’d often say “I don’t need anything” when joining raids. I am bringing my skills and gear and not taking anything from anyone. Some people just like to be constantly on the take.

Anyway we raided last night and one shot the first two bosses. One shot! I was slightly miffed though, the gloves that Duriel got last time, dropped again. They should have just gone to me by default, but the new mage also wanted them. So when the spirit ring dropped off Feng, even though I rolled highest, I couldn’t get it. I think I only dropped 3 spots on the loot list, but still.

Spent a lot of time staring at the healing meters, and the pallies healing just feels wrong. Looks wrong. I don’t know. People have said he has poor reaction time and stuff too. Most of the fights are two healable, I’ve been told, and I’d much rather do it with Tree, the druid.

I left Post Mortem the other day after the Spice stuff. Io left and everyone else claimed they were going to, and form a new guild, but then apparently Spice gave Onenight (Ran) GM2, then gave him full GM and gquit.

As of today I’m still out of guild waiting to see what is going on. I’ve been told I could go into VoW as a casual, but I didn’t care for their atmosphere (besides the trinket incident). Gorgor said they are going to be reforming their 10 man and raiding tues/wed that I could join too. I dunno, I’d rather go back to PM if stuff doesn’t get BITCHY. I mean, A9N has absolutely rocking dps but I’m trying not to guild hop a bunch.
