I really enjoy WPVP

Learning new terrain is always fun.  For instance, the chimney in Goldshire provides LoS to people on the ground in the center of it, on the edge you can attack.  Horde was attacking the area with 2 healing priests, shadow priest, hunter, warrior, and a monk, and I just rained down HECK and ducked back into LoS when they turned on me.  I died many times though, as I really had no group nor heals for most of it.

Fighting in buildings or towers is hell on LoS though.

I also learned that you phase from inside the gates of Stormwind, and the outside.  So you can see horde outside the gates, for instance, but take 2 steps back and it’s like they aren’t even there.

The 7 Steps of Backpedaling Denial

Ran into Styxz, a rogue I first met in Crossroads. We dueled, I killed him repeatedly (Barn got in on it too). We gave him some tips—gear, gems, keybinds—but his coping process? Priceless.

Step 1:  Disbelief

Wow, can’t believe I just died to you.

Step 2:  Denial

I was lagging, I keep lagging.

Step 3:  Anger

You’re enjoying this, aren’t you?  This is probably the only time you can 1v1 anyone, isn’t it?

Step 4:  Bargaining

Hang on I’m going to change specs, then I’ll kill you just wait.

Step 5:  Guilt

I’m a clicker

Step 6: Depression

Ahh I can’t do this! I set up a keybind but I keep hitting the wrong skills!

Step 7: Acceptance and Hope

I’m going to practice this, and when I get better you’ll be dead faster than a raccoon on a highway at rush hour.

(No, I am not making this up)

Speaking of, prior to that I killed a druid who was stealthed in Halaa (yes 90), then killed a 90 DK, then killed a 90 hunter.  The other day I also killed a 90 warlock with a 90 holy paladin, some 6-7 times until they logged.  No lie.   They wouldn’t stop attacking Eastpoint Tower low level npcs!

I also killed a 90 hunter, and druid at a the Hellfire stadium tower prior to that.  Being rude to someone trying to help you out, isn’t very cool.

Queues have been wacky

I banged out enough CP for my weapons the other day, by chaining some rbgs.  But Alliance random bg queues have been really random lately.  I waited 13 mins to randomly get into an IoC today, it went on for 30 mins or so and we lost.  Then I got a Twin Peaks where we were farmed at the GY from the START. I just left.   Then headed out to Outlands to kill a DK and warlock a few times with this warrior.

He did a little trick where he used a hearthstone, then cancelled it and shadowmelded, to look like he left.
